(DEAD)James Bond Ultimate Collectors Set--$110--Amazon.com

Well, I knew it would happen some day. Finally, a James Bond deal I couldn't pass up. In for 1, and telling a friend...

best deal on the set(s) I have seen besides the individual sales on black friday if AMZ didn't already have ALL my money....

Is this really a deal? Weren't there 4 sets at $20 a piece a few weeks ago? That would make it $80, plus $9 for the new movie. So you are gonig to pay $20 more for a box?

Well, that deal is dead and gone so if anybody missed it, this would be a pretty sweet thing to jump on.

CC had each of the 4 ultimate bundles for $18.99 each. so yeah that was a better deal than this one(approx $90 versus $110.) although you get some neato packaging with this one

it was $18.99 each at CC, $76 before tax, and roughly $90ish after tax.

the new movie was $7 or so in the BF ads, and can be had for much less used.

But the new movie is kickass. With this deal you would be paying about $20 more to get the new film, the boxes just take up shelf space, so i really dont like the boxes much at all.

One thing that pisses me off is the cases are different. Some let you put the mini-bio insert (usually left outside the individual cases in the larger case) between the two discs, but some have a different molding where you can't put the inserts in. I kinda wish they would have just used standard sized cases. The little cases feel kinda cheap for such an expensive set.

Missed this one, but the 4 separate boxes are $35/ea. on Amazon and Casino Royale is less than $9. So minus the Monster Box packaging, you can DIY this for just under $150. Not BF-good, but still pretty good, IMO. My uncle should enjoy this.

i wish i would have known about this...my mom bought this for my brother less than a week ago for $180 or whatever it was before.... they won't honor this price will they?

I can't say for certain, but if you bought it from Amazon, this article from Slate indicates they may well. Refer also to this Amazon customer discussion.

By the look of it, if they still do have that secret policy, you've got to invoke it while the lower price is in effect.

Good luck, if you pursue it. Assuming you bought it from them in the first place, of course.

You have $30 to get a refund for any price decreases. And can supposedly do it as many times as you want within that period.

Here's a site that will even monitor stuff for you, like if you buy a TV or something really expensive, considering how often Amazon's prices fluctuate.
Casino Royale kicks so much ass. i totally ate my words on that one. haha. thought Craig would suck it all up but he pulled it off
I think the new james bond may be my favorite. In just about all of the rest, he is infallable and indestrutable, like a terminator.

In this one he messes up and even comes up short in the end. It was more like the james bond in the books. Actually, the james bond in the books was more of a drunk who barely got the job done, and usually fucked a lot of people over in the process. But this is a good sign of things to come, hopefully.

That was the primary reason for the reboot. The movies wore out their welcome. Especially Die Another Day with that lameass CGI cliff diving scene, when this is supposed to be a series that repeatedly set Guiness world records with their stuntwork. I loved Casino Royale, especially that car flipping scene. Now THAT was a stunt.
