A few hoops and some possibility of YMMV but here goes

DS = $150 for the AC bundle or the MK bundle

Saturday only is 10% off all GM and Apparel
Also they have %10 off when you apply for a Meijer CC
Also they have reguarly been printing out a 10 dollar off your first Meijer CC GM purchase from thouse coupon printers at the register. (should get one if you buy anything, gum whatever)



GC = $100 - 10% = $90 - 10% = $81 - 10 dollars = $71

DS,PS2,Xbox = $150 - 10% = $135 - 10% = $121.50 - 10 dollars = $111.50

360 core = $300 - 10% = $270 - 10 % = $243 - $10 dollars = $233

360 prem = 400 - 10 % = $360 - 10% = $324 - $10 dollars = $314


Of course this applies to making $50 dollar games $30 as well



Game = $50 - 10% = $45 - 10% = 40.50 - 10 dollars = $30.50

those are the approximate totals it all depends on what order they ring them in and a few other variables but there was no exclusion mentioned on the CC setup last time I looked and nothing in the ad and nothing on the coupon. Hopefully this helps someone. good luck.

if you have a meijer credit card they will not allow you to try for a new card even if you destoryed your card a year ago.... i got my meijer cc and got a free case of pop back in the summer of 04..... I destored it thinking i would never use it... went back xmas o5 and was deny a new card

also i doubt they will accept all the coupons at once since most of the coupons says they can not be combined now

Did you actually call up and cancel the account though? If not, that might be the problem.
 
Nice! I just got the $10 off coupon yesterday. Does anyone know if there is any sort of introductory 0% APR or something like that for the Card.

the coupon says " both coupons must be scanned to received both discounts"

so at the very least the CC 10% and the 10 off would work. Also last Nov when the 360 came out they had a 15% off all GM purchases offer and 2 different managers confirmed that it would stack with the CC if I applied for one. Unfortunately they never had a 360 when I was there so I never applied.

yeap called cancelled.. took almost 30 mins cause the person wouldnt cancell the number. kept saying but closing out the account i was hurting my credit score ?? but after around 30 mins they finally closed it out

That's such a lie. They just told you that so you'd keep your account active. If anything, it'll hurt your credit score if you keep accounts active that you don't use anymore. They probably have a limit on how many times you can apply for a Meijers card, so that could be the reason why you couldn't get another one.

Thanks for the tip though. I live near the Meijers headquaters, so there are at least half a dozen Meijers stores near me. Gonna hit them all up tomorrow until I find a premium bundle.

Actually most stores if you cancel their cc, you have to wait for 2 years before being able to get a new one. This is their way of keeping you from being able to consistently get there 10% or whatever offer is being given with the card.

It's like a Wal-Mart but you don't feel guilty shopping there right Kane? Meijer's I mean. I would love either store to come here. I'd give Meijer's all my night business and Fry's most of my game business.

LOL FOC, we don't have any of these stores OR Fry's OR CompUSA here. I swear, it seems like we live in the middle of nowhere where I'm at(Scranton, PA area).

Hell, I'm shocked we have 2 Best Buy stores in the area. And of course, both of them are usually cleaned out when they penny out guides LONG before I can EVER get to one of them. Which is why I've been hitting out of my area BB stores alot lately.

Anyway, this deal would be good, if I were not getting a PStwo for about like uhhhh $30(new). A few friends of mine gave me $50 gift cards for Wally World, plus I have one of my own, so I'm taking all 3 to Walmart and splurging on a PStwo.

Of course, this kind of ends my idea of buying a PStwo with the credit I've built up at FYE from selling them copies of Powerdrome for PS2 constantly for the last month or so.

I figured I could swap in enough copies of Powerdrome to the local FYE stores and grab a PStwo for next to nothing (about $35 worth of trade in games) and then grab the rebate from FYE for $30 and thus make it like I only paid $6 for a new PStwo.

Anyway, good luck to the rest of you regarding getting this deal(or not).

is FYE still offering the 30 dollars rebate to PSTwo? i heard the rebate ended on 2/1/06
 
I've yet to see a 360 in the wild here. That's not counting the $600 bundles they had available at TRU during the big $10 sale.
 
got a ds. woo hoo. The lady let me use 2 of the 10 dollar off coupons. Not bad at all since you usually cant get deals on systems.
