DEAD Mods plz lock Official Xenogears guide at Amazon.com 10.19 before shipping.

I agree completely, I was running a random search for guides and this popped up. I hope it does come to be true. My last Xenogears guide was stolen. So this would be a boon to my collection big time. Maybe we should have an Official "I can't believe it's on Amazon thread." :shock:

Well I hope it does work but this one isn't even a TRU item is it?

And I don't really like the idea of offical store threads, you do that and everyone needs to read tons and tons of posts to find what they are interested in. It's one of the reasons I avoid the Target CC and gamerush threads, so big and so little of it I'm interested in.

When I mentioned the official type thread above, I meant it as a joke of sorts, like ripley's believe it or not. It feels like that with some of the added items we have seen as of late there.

I see, I suppose we could check for other odd but less popular games on amazon for new TRU avalibility. If infact TRU is emptying old werehouses than other less popular older games should also pop up. But the price part is the oddest, I think they wanted quite a bit for Xenogears which is only $20 new in GH form granted but most companies don't calculate the difference.

Yes I saw that to after dental_regurgitation pointed it out, I'd say that sale is quite genuine, however if they did a large enough printing ebay prices might have droped by the time it arrives, so buying and reselling is probably a poor plan, not that you were going to do that in the first place.
 
Truth be told I only ordered one for myself. I tapped myself out due to that huge Anime sale FYE/Specs had. I am glad the deal looks to be genuine, a lot of people could use that guide. It is an awesome guide.
 
i ordered three of these from amazon about a week ago and they sent me an email cancellation just recently. they say that none of their vendors carry the guide any longer.

I ordered this about a month ago and got a cancellation email within a few days from amazon. I haven't tried ordering from bradygames.com though.
 
I am also going to order from Bradygames. They have free shipping as well. Either way I get a great guide to get as a gift should these pan out.
 
Don't order from BradyGAMES.com. It turned out too good to be true. I ordered it from them a while back when they claimed it was in stock, but it was cancelled as their distributers didn't have it. I requested they remove it from their site, and they said they would, but have not.
 
I ordered a copy for myself... but I'm not hopeful that it will actually be in stock. But it never hurts to try. Thanks for the heads up.
 
I tried ordering it from both these places a couple months ago and both orders got cancelled. Anyone who tries to order this and thinks they are going to get it is just going to be disappointed.
 
I am not cancelling anything. We have nothing to lose save a few moments to read an email. If they cancel fine, nothing lost at all. I am taking a wait and see stance.
 
I'm ordering this and the WOW Limited Edition Strategy Guide.

I'm pretty sure they won't take away my free shipping I got for buying that much if they cancel part of my order. I'll call customer service and complain to fucking hell.

Actually they will take away your free shipping.
 
It's illegal to charge me unless I approve to pay for that shipping, so I'll have an opportunity to call and complain.

Edit: Damn, they do make you pay if they cancel enough of the order.. It's still illegal to charge me for the shipping unless I approve it though, so I'll have a chance to cancel it they do it.

Can anybody guess why amazon is doing this? Hard to find games and guides coming up as available for order all of the sudden? Id love it if it paid off for a few CAGers but I highly doubt it will.
 
It's Officially dead. Amazon has cancelled orders. I have to apologize and ask that the mods lock this bad boy up.
