Dead or Alive 4 Not Starting?

I just bought DOA4 this week and put it in my 360. It starts spinning for a bit but stops soon afterwards and the dashboard gives the option "Open Tray" instead of "Play Game." I tried rebooting the system a couple times but I keep getting this error. Has anyone else had any experience with this or knows why it's happening?
 
Since you didn't mention that you've been having issues with any other games, it sounds like it's not recognizing the disc. I suggest exchanging it.
 
I get that occasionally. If it does it with other games, however, it's your system. My system died on me this way.. just stopped reading games altogether. But yeah, wipe the disc off, if that doesn't work, exchange it.
 
Yeah, I tried Dead Rising and GH2 right afterwards and they were fine. I'll try exchanging it and see what happens.

I had a similar problem with NHL 07. It either wouldn't recognize it or it would load and be choppy. I exchanged it and it worked fine after that. SO its probably just a bad disc.

I'm glad someone else has a similar problem. I've never encountered or heard of this before.
