Hey guys just noticed on Amazon that one of the clues is " Another in a series of Dragon Ball Z collector's editions" which leads me to believe that it will be
Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box Two.

When Dragon Box One went on sale as a lightning deal on 17 February it had a sale price of 22.49.

Thanks for the heads up. I missed the Deal last time so hopefully this one is just as good.
 
I'm personally waiting for when they start releasing Dragonball Kai on Blu-Ray in May. I've never seen it before, but the idea of DBZ getting cut down to 100 episodes with some scenes tweaked and even new scenes added is pretty cool. I always thought the series was WAY too long (everything after the Frieza saga just declined in quality).
 
This will be the second time I get the shaft on a DBZ box! :bomb: I orderered the first one and then it went on sale at Amazon for $4 less; didn't do a return rebuy. Then I bought box 2 @ rightstuf for $35; so I bet it's going to be $30 @ amazon.

From the 40+ episodes of Kai I've seen, there is no new footage. Kai is just a condensed DBZ with new music, better picture, and a redubbed japanese track.
 
Just grabbed one. I can't believe the price for a set that has barely been out a month!

As for shipping, I was able to get free shipping without getting the total above $25. Do they let Lightening Deals go with free shipping because the same thing happened when I ordered Dragon Box 1 last month when it was a Lighterning Deal.

All the lighting deals I experience always offered free shipping for items under $25. I added on a Nendoroid Ryougi Shiki PVC I had been meaning to get. Nice day so far.

 
Ordered. After I bought the first Dragon Box during the last lightning sale, the second box kept popping up in my gold box. In fact, it was in my gold box like two days ago for about $51 (which was weird, considering it was usually around $44).

I want the collection up through the Cell saga... the Gohan/Cell fight is epic. And I'm in no rush so I'll keep waiting for these lightning deals :)
 
In for one. I'll eventually sit there 1 day and finish this series up. Ever since it was on Cartoon network, I've only seen scattered episodes everywhere.

I missed out on that first Box goldbox deal though. How much was it for Box 1 before?

I would have checked Amazon in the morning but I was busy as soon as I got to work. Damn it all!
 
Yeah, I received mine yesterday also, I was surprised Amazon usually sits on items ordered with free shipping for at least a few days.
 
Mine came yesterday as well but I'm still on my free prime trial. I feel bad that these dragon boxes come so nicely decorated and yet I'm just going to rip the discs to my popcorn hour and never see the box again :p
