(DEAD, pretty much)Cheap Ass N64 Games at Wherehouse.com

So why don't you sell your Paper Mario 64 for $3, instead of $25 since you got it from wherehouse.com anyways?? Obviously, you don't need it since your selling/trading it...so why didn't you let somebody else buy it? I saw the Paper Mario's a month ago, but I didn't get them because I don't have a N64. Stop trying to make yourself look like an angel when you're the same..
I bought one copy, one, not 10. Blow me. I'm not depriving anyone else of a deal in the way you people do. In fact, the last three people that asked about Paper Mario, I referred to Wherehouse.

You are the same person that actually got angry that Circuit City didn't let you buy all 5 copies of Disgaea that they had.

I remember that. Wait, or is he the one the got mad because TRU wouldn't sell him 5 copies (or was it 10?) or Digaea.

He wanted to buy 5 and they only let him buy like 3, and he got *mad* at them. What a piece of shit he is.

Actually, I have a confession. I knew about this website for like a month and have been buying these incredible almost once in a lifetime deals. So, if you see great games that are sold out and will never restock, it was probably me buying them. Have fun sucking cheapy balls for the next great deal.
Me too! I purchased a bunch of Marvel vs. Capcom 2(PS2) for cheap and Backyard Baseball(GBA) for cheap also...all complete. The website is shady as hell though, because I placed an order for this specific game and they cancelled my order saying it's out of stock, but it was still in stock and they even jacked up the price on their site. They did that three times already and I'm about ready to BBB on their asses.
They have tons of cheap games and they do ship them, just don't buy too many of the same title because they'll probably cancel your order and jack up the price. They even have some BS scheme of saying that its the "last one" and when you buy it, wait a few hours and you'll see another "last one".
The "last one" issue is not a scheme and is easy to explain. When you place an item in your cart, it remains there for 90 minutes. Thus, even though you haven't purchased the item yet, no one else can either. So if there is one copy of a used item and I place it in my cart, the website will now show the item as being sold out. If my cart remains inactive for 90 minutes, all the items are taken out of my cart. So the item you saw was probably someone else's that they didn't end up purchasing.

whew, good thing I ordered everything I wanted last week.. I'm sure they're wiped out now..

my order list:

Paper Mario
Mario Kart 64
Pokémon Snap
Diddy Kong Racing
GoldenEye 007
Perfect Dark
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo-Tooie
The World is Not Enough

The thing is, I wonder why our CAG radar didn't hit this earlier. I mean, wherehouse.com is a common site (though we don't use it too much) so it's strange that it'd evade us for this long. I was looking at used cd prices a few days ago on it......never crossed my mind to check n64 games.

Because they don't link to their 64/Dreamcast games on any page, you can search for them, and you can browse them, but they don't provide you with any links.

A couple weeks ago I picked up Street Fighter III 3rd Strike and Sonic Adventure 2 from there for cheap.

Grandia II for Dreamcast is in stock.

What worries me more is the fact that a few people have known about this for a while now...Has CAG turned into a place where, if you get a good deal, you don't tell anyone about it?

did they arrive yet? I'm curious about the condition of their games.

Its turned into a place where if you post a deal, a few people will buy 10 copies or every copy. I used to post everything I saw but now I have to think first, are one or two people just going to kill it anyway? I'll tell people I know first and give them a head start at least.

Yeah, got them a while ago. Dreamcast games are mint with cases and instructions. N64 games are complete with box and instructions, boxes look worn though. They reshrinkwrap everything and put used stickers on it.

honestly? yes, I think it has. with all the people now visiting this site, larger deals appear on FatWallet almost immediately. either that, or someone just buys all the available copies of something, killing great deals in no time.

Yeah, I get what you are saying, especially with these online deals...

I don't visit often and just figured that everyone knew because I found Wherehouse.com through a google search that turned up a forum post on CAG.. next time I see something like this I'll risk a post and being yelled at for repeating what someone else has already posted..

.. and I didn't buy 10 copies of everything for resale :) I only found them late last week.. then I ordered a used N64 from Gamestop for $15 after I ordered the games :)

I agree. I can understand not posting until after you place your order, but people sat on this deal for more than a week. If you already placed your order, why keep the deal to yourself? And if that wasn't bad enough, these guys rub it in by posting the fact that they knew about the deal weeks ago.

Scroll up.

I got in on Round 1 1/2 but missed round 1 & 2. Any idea wheather the will restock any of these games at this price... I have 80+ n64 games and I'm looking to expand...
Has anybody actually received their stuff yet? I dunno, but two bucks a game plus a site where "where" is incorrectly spelled makes me nervous.

Not that it matters. EVERYTHING is gone, anyway.
The Wherehouse is (was) a big national chain from back before the days of Blockbuster. It's spelled that way purposely.

If I remember correctly, Wherehouse auctually bought-out blockbuster music...

Ack, yeah, this was addressed earlier, and now I feel like a dumbass. I write stupid things at 2 AM...

Has anyone noticed they take trade ins? Some of the prices seem pretty good, especially if you find the game for cheap.

http://www.wherehouse.com/games/trade-ins.jsp

I've seen some of these games sold for more than what they give you...check it out.

Sorry if posted, I didn't read through this whole thing...

Like $17 for last years ESPN NBA? I'm sure you can find that for cheaper...

Banjo-Tooie Used Game 1.99
Mickey's Speedway USA Used Game 1.99
Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage Used Game 1.99

Any good ones as of yet?

A couple of the most widely owned games--I'm happy with a lot of them, but it's still nothing spectacular:

Perfect Dark
Star Wars: Episode I: Racer
Forsaken 64
MRC: Multi-Racing Championship
WCW/NWO Revenge
Mickey's Speedway USA
F-Zero X
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Banjo-Tooie
Jet Grind Radio (DC)
Maken X (DC)
Phantasy Star Online (DC)
Phantasy Star Online Ver. 2 (DC)
Clay Fighter 63 1/3
GoldenEye 007
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Pokémon Stadium 2

As you can see, a couple of these I'm just adding 'cuz they're so damn cheap.

congrats, doesn't look like to bad of a haul for an hour's work...

are u guys just goin for the 1.99 used games or are you grabbing the more expensive like 4.99 ones. and what are the chances of them being complete

Though I was the second to post here, I didn't order anything because I don't have a N64 anymore. Is there anything good left? I never played Kirby and Paper Mario on the 64.

aaarrrggghhhh

wreslting and old sports titles, wreslting and old sports titles, wreslting and old sports titles, wreslting and old sports titles, wreslting and old sports titles, wreslting and old sports titles

Good things come and go, I'm finding. cag1000 is right that there's a lot of old sports titles and wrestling to wade through (and it feels like that's all that's left at times). The site keeps getting updated, though, so if you keep searching you might find some good crap.
