Back-ordered for me, as well.

Called, Cancelled, and Buy from local Fry's for $2 more....
 
I placed my order last Friday afternoon and still have only received the 'backordered' email.
If I don't receive anything stating it was shipped by end of next week I will probably cancel.

I called today and got some new info. Apparently Outpost shipped out the earliest orders this week, but those of us who got in on it late will not have to wait until next month. The CSR I spoke to said that due to the complaints they have had they will be shipping a certain amount of RE4s out next Tuesday(18th), instead of Feb. 11th. Just yesterday they were not shipping the rest until Feb., but apparently things have changed(how?). I'm not sure if this will cover everyone, call for yourself w/ your order number to find out.
 
...I don't want to wait until the 18th only to find out that it will be shipped later. I just cancelled my order.
 
I also called today but they told me that the games haven't reached their warehouses yet and that there are about 300 people still waiting on orders. He also couldn't give me a date that they would ship. Either their employees don't know what's going on or It's Make Something Up Week.

Whats the cheapest thing on outpost.com that ships free? Isnt that the best way to get RE4 with free shipping? Just get something that also ships free and add it to the order.

I dont think that will do you much good
PLEASE NOTE:

Shipping with a tracking number this morning. Est. delivery time 1/17... Does DHL work on MLK B-Day? If so... you know what I'll be doing. Oh and in case anyone bought Minish Cap for $19.99 as well, the lady told me that it should ship out Friday (as in tomorrow). Thanks OP!

Anyway, they told me they didn't get enough Resident Evils for the preorders today, but their next shipment will be on Tuesday, which they hope is enough for preorders. Zelda will ship tomorrow(Friday) for those who preorder, and she said they'd have enough, but you never know.

:censored: . Damn I was playing it cool a few days ago now I'm going crazy. If my game don't shipped tommorrow I'm just going to break down and buy the game at a local store.

This is exactly what I was told, so it sounds like we won't be waiting much longer. :)

But it would've been nice if we had it in our hands right now.. or in our Gamecube. I hope they have enough for all pre-orders.

I haven't. I ordered on 1/7 along with LoZ: The Minish Cap and both have been placed on "partial backorder". It's kinda pissing me off.

I wonder if they cut the pre-orders off at a certain time? I'm sure some people who ordered on 1/7 got the game. I ordered the same day, but no automated email telling me its backordered. I ordered at 3:53PM Eastern. Anyone else ordered on 1/7?
 
Pre-ordered on 1/7 and received my order confirmation email at 12:30pm that day.
Received a backorder notification on 1/10 and haven't heard a peep from them since. :evil:
 
i broke down and cancelled my order to get the LE from Gamestop. i am still debating on whether it was worth the extra money, but the game is unbelievable!
 
It's saying in process for me now which is a change from backordered. So that's definitely good because I'm really really wanting to get into this game.

Yeah, they're retarded, but I'll do what I can to get a good deal on stuff.
 
I hate outpost.

They lure you with their low prices, but a majority of the time they don't have it in stock and fail to tell you that.

They did that to me when I preordered Metal Gear Solid 3 from them. When I found out they would ship it at least a week late, I promptly cancelled my order.
 
Ok, everyone who's still waiting should check their order status again. My status has gone from backordered to in process to "Order Fulfilled". I suppose this means it has been shipped?

Mine's still in process... I'll hopefully get it by friday or saturday since I'm predicting it'll say order fulfilled first thing tomorrow.

With some luck I'll have it early next week. Thankfully I've had plenty of games to get me through the delay. :)
