Wow, I wish I knew they were remastering the first 4 seasons before I bought the originals two weeks ago. AND it's half off?

Well I'm buying this anyways since they look great. I could always sell the originals or give them to a friend.
 
I have S1 and S2 on disc, but I am in for one all the same. That price is just sick. Can't do store pickup as nobody around me has it, but no worries.
 
how long would something that's backordered take to ship? None of the closest stores have it, and the ones that do are over an hour away. Should I order, or wait?
 
So in other words, the edition I bought at comic con last year (or was it 2008? I cant recall) would be worth upgrading to this? Shame a blu-ray edition would not likely occur.
 
I went ahead a bought it through the best buy online store. I'm in no hurry.
And if the order gets canceled, oh well lol

I still love this series though, and $25 is the perfect price for this set
 
Will be picking this up for sure on Wednesday when I get back from Texas. Would pick it up here in Dallas but I don't have any room in my luggage!
 
Hey guys, had a complete fuck-up of a time trying to pick this up, and then it turns out the store didn't have any. Now the price has gone back up to $39.99 on the site. However, I did find someone who was selling the series for $29.68 with FSSS on Amazon, so that was pretty cool. He's out of stock now, but there are some other cheap options also.

Apologies for the dead thread bump, but I got an email tonight saying this is still backordered and I have to extend the wait time or it will be canceled in 5 days. Has anyone had this actually ship yet? I ordered July 16, so we're sitting at 25 days right now.

Same email here radioactive. I would love to buy it through the roosterteeth store and support them, but if the price that we ordered it for originally is honored, it is just too good to pass up. I went ahead and extended the order.
 
Hey everyone, I bought the first DVD when it was available years back, but, once I was ready to move here, RvB kind of fell of my radar. Can anyone tell me if this 1-5 is the entire series, or is it still going in one form or another?
I think I would like to pick this up someday if it is everything they have to offer in one shot.
 
Mine is still backordered still as well. There is no reason why they shouldn't be able to get this. It is a newer release and should be available for them to get.

RvB is still going strong. They are releasing seasons 6-8 within the next month or so I believe. Also they have will continue the series using Halo: Reach. :D

There are lots of things that Best Buy should be able to get that they just decide to cancel if they decide they don't want to honor the price any more.

Lately we've seen that with Logitech wheels, DJ Hero turntables, etc.

In any case, I got the e-mail to extend the backorder as well.

I just got the e-mail that they sent me my dvd set today!!!! Finally. I agree best buy can definately suck sometime.

Well, is it still any good? or does it go downhill from the beginning ala Heroes?

BTW, saw your 360 RPG ranking list in the TLR/UI thread and just wanted to mention, no way in hell does FFXIII beat out LO. NO WAY! :bomb: Now, as for ToV... Still have not had a chance to play it long, so LO stands tall at the top of my list.
