This weekend only restaurants.com has a coupon for 80% off all coupons. Put in your zip code and search for places to eat close by. I tried this last night and it worked perfectly. I ended up getting $500 worth of food for around $15. Choose your gift cards and on the checkout screen type in the code HEART

Forced gratuity of 18%; what if I get crap service? Also whats weird is some places say must show before ordering...Sadder is the restaurants available look overpriced for what they serve.

I've used this before, works well. Not your typical gift card though. IE if you order a 25 dollar gift card, there are restrictions like the 18% gratuity and must order 35-50 worth of food.

Not really that weird, it could be hard to apply the discount after the fact in their computer system.
So this site sends you gift cards in the mail? And they are reputable and such?
you print them out yourself so you can use them instantly

Love Restaurants.com.

$25 gift certificates are $2. Even if it says there's a $50 minimum, you're getting a $50 dinner for $27.

It's worth the $1 or $2 to have the option to save 50-75% off your bill at a new place to try out, especially if you're going on vacation or would like to try something new in your area other than franchise/fast food.

Just don't use them on a first date, or it will most likely be the last.

Little warning about this stuff, I was really excited until when I went to print out the certificates it said only one can be used per table. If it had said that anywhere else before I paid for them I wouldnt have bought the fucking things.

You can't really expect to get meals for $2 from all these restaurants, there are obviously restrictions on the gift cards.

That said, I love them. Take them when you eat with some friends to dent the bill.

Just like any good deals too good to be true, just read everything, even email them if your not sure. Some of the deals do look good. I bought a bunch of gift certificates from this service, but I read everything before I bought them, I even called the place to make sure they took the gift certificates. Even though there are not as many places I still found some good gift certificates. I focused on the ones that seem the best deal, IE $25 off discounts with a reasonable min purchase amount. Have a good dinner ! :D
