Dead Rising 2 Zombrex Edition (PS3) $21.70 at Amazon

Tempted, I already have DR2 on PC.
I wish "Off the Record" was this cheap already.. I'd buy right away. Frank West FTW!

If it makes you any less tempted, you see the nice Zombrex brochure? Yeah, they folded that over twice just to get it in the box, so it's ruined in every single copy that they've ever made.

They also make little novelty syringe pens now (I see them everywhere), so that's not an issue either.

The only truly cool thing about this set is the steelbook case, which I love.

HOWEVER..

If you have Dead Rising 2 already and actually want something cool, the Dead Rising 2 Poker Set and the Fortune City Playing Cards are both in stock on Capcom's site.

Or, you could just go all in (sorry) and get the High Stakes Edition, which includes both the poker chips, the cards, some dice, a map, and a "Terror is Reality" admission code (which has a DLC code on it). It's half off from the original price and cheaper than the poker set by itself.

i am thoroughly confused about all the different editions of DR2.....if i recently finished DR1, and I want to continue the story arc, which edition of DR2 should I get? DR2 vanilla? DR2 Off The record? DR2 Zombrex???

and whats the best deal right now?
 
DR2 vanilla continues the story. DR2 OTR provides a "what if" scenario for Frank West. Zombrex edition is the collector's edition of the vanilla DR2.

Zombrex is just the "collector's edition" of Dead Rising 2. Dead Rising 2 can be found for $10. Off the Record was made mostly for fan-service as it has Frank West in the same world as the 2nd. So in a way, it's an expansion pack.

Off the record also made a lot of other improvement, such as loading time and number of enemies on the screen
