Dead Rising $22 shipped at FamilyVideo.com AC

Same here. I'll be getting a 360 when the price drops and this is one game I want so I may as well just order it now and it'll come when it does. We'll see how long it takes to ship this one.
 
Well, they estimate 2-4 weeks based on the product page, but it could be much shorter. You never know. I assume they'd want to put a longer date to save their ass just in case it takes longer to get the games. Then again, it may take that long. We'll find out I guess.

I got my copy today. It's a Platinum Hits Edition (I didn't even now it went PH).

Edit - Oh, and for the record, there's no mention of 2 player co-op on the cover anywhere.

Thanks for the link. I was going to look for alternative covers for the game. I'm printing one now on photo paper. I'll give it about 24 hours to dry and I'll be replacing that awful PH cover.

yes, I just received mine today and it is the Platinum hit version, which for $20 I really do not care. And like someone said, "no mention of Co-op".
 
I got my copy in the mail today and played it for a little while. I thought it was strange that the ratings description on the back of the box wasn't in English but everything else is in English, is it like that will all Plantium Hits versions of Dead Rising?

What language is it in? Maybe they got a hold of a Canadian version or something.

Because when people notice you have the Platinum Hits version of a game, they think you are a Cheapass Gamer who waited until the price dropped to buy the game.

That's exactly what I did & I'm a cheap ass. I tried to rent it from Gamez N Flix but they never sent it out. I'll play it and either trade it or sell ot for $15.
 
wait so there's nothing different at all for the platnium version including the text size of SDTV's? if that's the case i might as well go pick it up for 30 at my local toyrus with a gift card i have. i was hoping for that rumor to be true, but i guess it's not necessary to wait any longer.
 
At first it was a great game but then when you get out of the mall at night, some convicts on a Hummer shoot your ass down and for me it was very hard to kill them, what's even worse is the music that's being played during that part.
