I have no idea what I'm doing in this game. I just started and I have a chick and an annoying photographer following me (who kicks and shoots me from time to time) and I don't know where to take them. I really need to sit down for more than 20 minutes at a time to play... hopefully tonight.
This list was on Gamefaqs:

1 Clown - Adam.
2 Gun store owner - cletus.
3 machete guy - Cliff.
4 grocery store owner - Steven.
5 fat cop woman - Jo.
6 malatov cocktail guy - Paul.
7 camera guy - Kent.
8 sniper trio - Roger, Thomas, Jack.
9 movie theatre cult guy - Sean.
10 butcher - Larry.
Well the only one I see missing is that camera guy...if you do 2 missions of his then hit him some he turns pychopath....great stuff

Ha.

I took the truck from the tunnel and rammed the convict's jeep.. killed the gunner and passenger. Hopped out, fired two shots at the driver, killed him. Awesome.
I saw that too. I don't think it showed up as a scoop, maybe it does and I fucked up and missed a call or something. I got 6,000-ish points for taking just one picture with the girl hanging there and all the zombies underneath. DRAMA!!11SHIFTONE.
I'm pretty sure I got 10,000 PP for a well-timed picture of the reunited old married couple on the rooftop, like 10 minutes into the game. When they go to embrace, snap pics like mad.

I'm finally going to put a good five hours into this tonight. I've just been picking at it ever since I got it. I want to play it for hours on end, but I just feel like I'm going to get really frustrated sooner or later.

I'll be doing the same thing actually. Hit me up on XBL if you need some strats, cause I probably will need some as well.

Yep 10,000 is the max you can get for that. You have to be close or have the camera zoomed in or else you will get less points. That's actually part of how I leveled up quickly. Start game, have the old fat lady join you for 5000 PP, take a picture of them (DRAMA) for 10,000 PP, have the old man join for 5000 PP, rescue them for 20,000 PP, then go realign the servbot statue for another 10,000 PP. After that, either just die, or go kill zombies until you die. Save status and repeat until you get to a decent level.

I found that it was semi easy to level on the special ops in the warehouse.

Enter through the rooftop door (not the elevator) theyre all on the ground and cant touch you as long as you stay on top of the shelves.. Just shoot em til they die (aim for arms & legs), you get 5k PP each (x6) then you jump down, grab their guns, exit the room through the elevator, enter at the rooftop door again, and repeat.

Good idea!

2 questions.

1.) Kent wants me to get a good erotica photo, any tips? Best I can get is one worth 100 PP

2.) How do you trigger the mission to fight Sean?

If Sean is the old man/cult leader then go into room 4 in the movie theater.

Save some ammo and use Adam's chainsaw + engineering mag (3x durability) and slice those special ops guys something fierce. Using this method I was able to get the Unbreakable achievement.
I did on my first time playing and no one was there. :(

Does a case mission trigger the fight?
I got a messsage from Otis about some people gathering in or around Colby's.

go head back to the vent room and one of the survivors that you save has an easy crotch shot that nabs you the 750 PP that you need..

oh, and I jus thit lvl 43 right now, but I'm taking a huge ass break from the game since I've been playing it too much.

as for the higher levels, you start not wanting to even use weapons since your abilities are very strong and super usefull (knee stomp and wall kick come to mind).
Where do I find the batteries for the camera? I just started the game....got past Carlito, that was it.
There's a place where you can recharge them in the camera store (it's right by the warehouse IIRC).

About spec ops the double larait works pretty good, one spin takes out a spec op for me

you can get the camera batteries changed at any camera store, i think every part of the mall has one

went to save the guy in north plaza and saved too far away from the office  lost the rest of the cases.

should be pretty easy to get right back there at level 19 :p

btw, do the convicts respawn for you guys? read on gamefaqs that if you trash their jeep, they don't come back..

They did once... but never again. After I wrecked their jeep, even.

A couple other times, I heard the tight beat of their rap music, but didn't see their jeep anywhere.

Also, this game is kinda fucking boring without doing the cases and escort missions. I wish I could read the text so I could do that stuff.

without missions, it's.....*drumroll please* GTA!! only better.

just follow the arrows...the text doesn't really say much. the only misleading one might be the photo assignment Kent gives you-- the arrow points to where you meet him instead where you go for the mission.

It helps to adjust your TV settings too.

Doesn't make up for the fact that they chose a fucking 12 point font.

GTA has missions, though.

And the arrow vanished on the first day.

*shrug*

I might just shelf this game until I get an HDTV.

did you know that you need to press left on the D-pad to assign yourself missions? answering the phone gets the missions, but you have to listen to the whole conversation.

Can anybody tell me how to beat the final boss in overtime mode?
I just tried and couldnt figure it out and had to go back to my last save.

so as long as we dont destroy the convicts' jeep they keep coming back? that machine gun is awesome i dont mind having to kill them over and over if i can keep dragging that thing along to the psycho battles.

I took some pictures of the pictures i took in the game (gah) i wish there was a way to extract them from the savegames and to look at more than your most recent shots.

anyone catch something funny?
Nothing besides that chick has some big ass titays
don't forget that later on there's a model you can save from the cultists who has a request fro frank. Basiclly she starts posing for him and you have to take pictures, which are something you should keep ;)

as for assigning missions, you can do it on the map menu as well, just hit X.

Neither of the two girls I saved from the cult made it across paradise plaza. Stupid bitches just didn't know how to run.

anyone have tips for the Carlito/"Bomb Collector" mission?

I defuse one bomb, make my way over to the 2nd. By the time I defuse it, Carlito is right next to me in his truck throwing grenades. Am I supposed to get to each bomb before he kills me or stop to kill him first?
Neither of the two girls I saved from the cult made it across paradise plaza. Stupid bitches just didn't know how to run.
it's the girl you save by opening the small wharehouse with after killing the cult leader... it's to the left.

The raincoat mafia is mysteriously gone... and I never found the cult leader in the appropriate theatre.

Did I miss something?

So, if we just go through each episode (chapter) and do NO side missions, will we still get a good ending? Does it really matter? I just started playing, and I'm enjoying it....just curious though.

I think you'll still get the good ending w/o any side quest.
The raincoat mafia is mysteriously gone... and I never found the cult leader in the appropriate theatre.

That happened to me when I was on my 2nd run through of the game. The cultists all disappeared suddenly and I never got any call from Otis about the leader in the theater. I think the sequence and timing has to do with mission assignments. I might've done something too fast (since I was on 2nd run w/ level'ed up Frank) or maybe it has something to do with me saving the girl in the box surrounded by cultists, I don't know.

I finished 72 hour mode last night. I saved about 6 people and got the A ending. I was assuming it was A-D, with D being low. I was about lvl 28. Im glad there are reasons to play more after the first time through. I need to kill the other psychos and get the sweet weapons.

If you save right before you do the last part with getting back to the hideout (military is in the mall) you can get endings A, C and D by either going to the helipad at noon (ending A) not leavong the mall at the noon time (ending D) or getting captured (ending C) all in just one game! Then you just have to go back through the game once to get ending B (dont get all the bombs carlito puts out in time).....easy way to get all 4 ending w/o playing 4 times ...just make sure after you get an ending you just dont save when cued...just hit no save then go to load and your back at the very end.....weeeeeeeee

PS- Anyone level up to lvl 50 yet or kill 54,000+ zombies for the achievment?

Im at lvl 41. Though unfortunately im only at 9,000 zombies. I really dont trust that sports car in the tunnels so im stuck with just driving around the main park area (which nets a decent amount of kills, it just gets boring). For some reason it seems the convicts only show up at certain times for me, otherwise i'd always use their jeep (i keep a sniper rifle and a shotgun on me at all times, makes it really easy to take them out, especially when they get stuck off in the distance). Im about to stock up on OJ & mini chainsaws and raise some hell in the tunnels, lets just hope it goes well.

As for beating the boss of Overtime. After about 9 tries, i figured out a decent method. Stand on the bottom part of the tank (near the edge) and do a jump kick everytime Brock jumps down onto it. He'll either block, or the second before your kick connects, he'll "charge up" leaving him wide open. It takes a bit, but its a good method (if he grabs you, just move your stick left & right as fast as you can, if your close enough to the edge it'll knock him into the zombies, and when he jumps back up, kick him right back into them).

Good call, there's a ton of propane-rolling zombies in the tunnels.

i'm up to lvl 45 or so and have ~33k kills. driving in the tunnels for over an hour kinda gives me motion sickness, and i only get that if i'm reading in the car and my mom is driving [ she drives erratically ].

i should have done this in infinity mode [ and just kept the system on pause for long breaks ], but i am earning levels and i'm pretty sure you can use the MegaBuster in infinity mode to make surviving 5-7 days easier/more fun.

Welp, i spent about 2 hours in the tunnels, racked up 27,000 kills, unfortunately since i was on the last day of the 3 days, my time ran out >

I have like 6 survivors following me but they are pissing me off. Is there a way to block them in a room or make them stay for longer than a minute? If not then I am going to kill them all myself.
