Ok just beat it for the 2nd time. I have no idea what ending I just got. I solved all the cases, talked to Isabella, and then hid for the final 12 hours. Went to the helipad, and it shows the pilot being killed. No option for overtime mode. what fucking ending is this?
 
How do you find the Survivor that is connected to Kent? I beat up Kent and did not find the survivor.

btw, I think he's the hardest psychopath; I had to fight him four times before I won.

meet Isabella in the hideout when she calls you around 10:00 on the last day

I think it's ending C. I got that the first playthrough cause I was getting my hat handed to me by special forces. You missed Isabel's call during the las hour or so.

So you have to talk to her around 2 hours before the helicopter? I always assumed, that talking to her, was after the butcher, not talking to her again. never got a call though. 1st time i beat it, i was captured, with ending D.

So I guess I shouldve hid with her, in carlitos hide out, lol.

So what is everyone doing, for that last 12 hours? I just want to at least get to overtime mode.
 
I don't think she calls you if you are in the hideout. I tried hanging out there but she never called, had to reload and run around some.


If you're hiding out because of the special ops do this:
Grab Adam's small chainsaw, the Engineering mag and entertainment books from Bachman's books in Paradise plaza and the Psychology book on Psychos in Sir-books-alot in wonderland plaza and extend its durability to 4,000 zombie kills. With this weapon you can slice them Special Ops in 2!

Did you complete his photo challenge first? Because then you'll see who the survivor is and then after you kill Kent the guy is right there waiting to be saved.

i stayed in the hideout til 10am and a cut scene started

yeah, I did the photo challenge thing and fought Kent, but no dice.
 
What's the deal with the perfect gunner achievement, I've been trying for an hour to get this BLEEP and can't seem to do it. I thought it would be easy underground but nope!

Edit: got it after a bunch of tries. Here's how I did it:
Got machine gun from Spec. Ops.
Shot at zombies underneath Seon's market, by butcher. Shot zombies one by one, shooting in one bullet bursts making sure each shot was a hit.
 
My hats off to anyone who gets Zombie Genocider. Started my 3rd game, and went to the tunnel with the respawning truck, and just got 10,000 Zombie Killer. But damn, thats a lot of driving around.

was averaging 5,000 kills in about 20 mins though...

72 hour was fine for me. I went in as soon as i got my queen cutscene & mini chainsaw (60~ hours left) and had the achievement by 25 hours left, then i parked my car in the main lot where you get the motorcycle/sports car and sat there for 24hrs to get my "outdoorsman" achievement.

The queens & chainsaws help big time. If you have all 3 books for the chainsaw, one can last you the whole time. With a decent aim, you can kill 80 zombies with one Queen.
 
I found it easiest to just go straight to the parking lot, take the car into the maintenance tunnel and go to the left and clear out the zombies in there repeatedly with the car & panel truck.
 
Any tips or places in particular to look for queens for the part of overtime mode where you have to collect 10 queens?

nothing.

and what i did was make some necter and get a few queens that way. and exit the hideout and kill the zombies around the gun shop and hall for the ones with queens. much faster than going to the tunnels and taking 2 trips doing so.

Well that's slightly comforting then. I'm currently at level 31. Killing Spec Ops gains you a LOT of levels very quickly.

yeah i tried the extinguisher twice, i never can seem to put the fire out. i was thinking maybe you had to give it to one of the chicks?

Same here, I can't seem to aim down with the fire extinguisher.
 
it took me a few tries but i had to stand around his feet and just shoot the extinguisher at him.

second time I defeat kent and there is no survivor. Any Ideas?

Edit: Nevermind, for some reason i was showing up late to the meeting 'cause I answered 2 of otis' calls. I have been playing an alternate version of the fight where Kent shows Frank a picture of a dying Tad. In this alternate fight I was always in my underwear, lacking my weapons, and chained to the rafters. No wonder I kept dying.
I remedied the problem by not answering the calls and walkiing through the door right when the scop notification lit up.

Does it do it everytime? Sometimes I don't get a queen from it and was wondering what I did wrong. I think it's random on whether or not you get one or there might be a time limit.

But about the 10 queens i just drove a car around, got about 5 or 6, returned them, repeat once more and was set
 
can you get the mini chain saw again, after you have used it up after the clown?

what are the books that make it last longer and do they apply to the big chain saw too?

How do you finish his second challenge? After i beat his first one he shows 3 pics then leaves...then what do you do exactly step by step?

The mini-chainsaw respawns each time u leave & re-enter Wonderland. You need the Entertainment & Engineering book (bookstore near the stairs in the Paradise Plaza), and the Criminal Biography book (2nd floor of Wonderland Plaza).

Criminal Biography is a really great book as it boosts any blade/sharp objects.
 
I'm on case for day 1. Having problems with the convicts, I can easily navigate around them and avoid them but I'm having hell of a hard time trying to kill them. I have a couple pistols equiped but I can't get close enough to get a shot at them before the turret guy kills me. I have 6 energy boxes. Is there anychance I can hijack the car at this time or would you guys recommend I level up some more or find better weapons?
 
I recommend going into the Gun store (if cletus isnt there already) grab some shotguns & sniper rifles. The snipers are key because the convicts tend to be stupid and get stuck driving against a tree (which is perfect timing to snipe from afar) go for the gunner first, then take out the rest. If after taking out the gunner (or at any other time) and they start to come after you, get behind a tree, they'll keep driving at you (against the tree) and you should be able to get a decent angle for some shotgun/snipe shots (you gotta shoot from the side of the person you're trying to kill, the front is bulletproof and for some reason you cant shoot from the opposite side of the car - ie kill the driver while standing on the passenger side)

Better yet, in Paradise Plaza (the demo area) there's a SMG on the blue awing -- you have to jump from the stairs onto to it and then run along the top until you get it. After that, I suggest grabbing a couple of orange juices. Finally, head outside and run over to where the convicts are. Try to lure them over to where there's a lot of trees and wait untill they start crashing. When they crash target the gunner ONLY. Once he's dead you'll be able to snag the HUGE gun of the truck . After that, the driver and his flunky should be a cake walk. Make sure you total their truck afterwards (by either driving it into things or by simply shooting the hell out of it with the HMG). Otherwise they'll respawn when you arrive back in the park.

On a whole other topic; how do you unlock the Gun Store? I've been there a few times, but the game says it's locked.

BTW I suggest ignoring the story mode your first time through. Just get a good feel of the game, the layout of the store, try to save a few people and level up as much as possible. Trust me, the game is a lot more fun when your guy is lvl 20 or more.
 
Woo hoo I finally got kent's hostage, saved all possible survivors and am on route to get the best ending to boot. Now, I hope I answered all of Otis' calls.
 
i remember someone mentioning that you might be able to have survivors wait for you on the roof so that you can collect more people, this does not work. their health will still go down even though there aren't any zombies around.

and btw, when you earn the roundhouse kick, if you hold down while you do it, it becomes a sweep.
 
Alright how do you beat the final challenge (or it seems like the final challenge), after the tank-fight where you're doing hand-to-hand combat with the bald dude (I forget his name, I want to say Brock)?

Is it hand-to-hand, or did I just have no weapons? And are there other weapons around? And if there aren't, what strategy do you use?
