I was gonna use spoilers but I figured my description was vague enough to not give anything away

What was spoiled?

That the guy u see at the end of the 3 day mode is a bad guy?

Though i kinda figured that one out just for the fact that he is bald and has a scar, all bald guys with scars on their faces are evil by default.

As for defeating him, either use the double lariat, or stand on the bottom part of the tank and jump kick him everytime he jumps down to u.

I kinda suck at this game....I basically made it through the first 4 missions so far. ONly played for a little though. I haven't really found any good guns as the gun shop owner killed me easily. I had a katana...that was fun.

There's someone out there that is bald and has a scar his/her? face and is not evil, and I will find this person

Cough sig cough

is there some kind of move list for frank? and maybe the level that they are attached to? i mean there are all these cool moves you see durring loading screens but i have no idea how you would pull them off with one button.

does it tell you at the bottom how to pull off new attacks? i am usually too busy trying not to die to read any of it.

Press start, click status, click skills

Full list there

Really after playing it for over a week now the save system itself isn't that bad. Now the fact you can't have multiple saves is a whole other problem...

Alright, so I beat all the cases and got to the helipad by noon, yet I got ending C.

There's nothing to do after you give Carlito's pendant to Isabela in the hideout, is there?

You have to kill time and be at the hideout at 10am, then you leave the hideout and go to the helipad. You just have to make sure you talk to Isabella before the heli gets there.

Heres what I did...

Left the hideout and ran over to the security room to kill the Zombie Jesse. Took a picture of her to unlock a achievement before I killed her, Not required. Next I went back to the hideout and talked to Isabella. At this point I just killed time going down and killing whatever. Went into the hideout about 8 and sat there until 10 AM. New cut scenes starts. Talked to Isabela and ran to the heliport. Ending A is what I received...

Ha that's funny, because I played really crappily and got Ending A.

I've just completed 72 hour run for the 2nd time. I have completed all cases, rescued all survivors, and accumulated 10,000 kills. Once I have done this:

...the 12:00PM time status stamps itself on the screen and the game is then thrown into a never ending loading screen loop that would normally lead to the final roof-top cut scene. I'm stuck staring at the load screen for a half an hour (the red globe loader is still spinning) before I just turned off my console. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

Well it seems like I screwed the pooch the other day. When I finished the 72 hour mode on the second go round to get ending A I saved and started the overtime mode. However I turned the actualy overtime mode part off before saving in the hideout.

Now when I started overtime mode this morning all my equipment I had when I finished the 72 hour mode is gone. Being so close to the food store/gun shop its not a big deal. However for some reason the locked store in the north plaza key is no longer on him. So even thought I killed the psycho had the key and was carrying the survivor/pro wrestling books when I had ending A. I don't have it now. Anyway to get the key again in overtime mode or am I screwed out of the wrestling guide...

Basically save as soon as your in the hideout in overtime mode.

i am so frustrated with this game. I can read shit and i lose all my scoops. I want to enjoy it so bad but its impossible. i get so pissed everytime i pop it in. I got it yesterday thinking i would play all weekend.....ive only had it on four about 4 hours. I am really disappointed now....

are you kidding? the bandwidth of most people would have a hard as hell time tracking the location of every zombie, plus the other player.

and whats to say that every possible multiplayer mode has to have 100's of zombies?

Even the IGN review asks the question of where the multiplayer is... even though they aren't very smart.

Hey, quick question, I have 49 survivors and am 1 hour from the end of 72 hour mode. I found everyone every survivor and can get the A ending but when I did that I did not get the last survivor. Is number 50 Isabella? I thought she was. Do I have to continue to overtime mode to save her?

Why do we even need a multiplayer mode in every single game now? The attraction of Dead Rising is that you're in a mall with hundreds of zombies onscreen at once. Taking zombies out of the game just so you can play co-op or something isn't worth it.

Friends can wait their turn.

I beat it today. Never had a problem with the save system, difficulty, or had to restart. I did get a crappy ending though but I don't understand how. I beat all cases and everything and even got a bunch of the extra cutscenes and never got caught by the special ops. Didn't unlock anything but costume items. Oh well.

I'll give it some time and start a new game.

Beat this morning. Didn't solve all cases, got 31 survivors (after I lost the cases, I basically went on a killing spree and survivor patrol). I got Ending B. Unlocked the Wrestling boots per the achievement. Killed 3900 Zombies. Notebook not filled in, due to missing survivors and not making Scoop times. One complaint I have would be the security room. For example, I would think that if I were to say, beat a gun owner and his stock becomes 'mine', why not have respawning weapons at your base of operations versus having to go all the way back to the store each time the sniper rifle/shotgun run out of ammo?

I can see it now...
IGN's review of Twilight Princess said:
From start to finish, this game was an emotional roller coaster of epic proportions. However, we felt dungeon design was unimaginitive as dungeons have been done to death and we think gamers deserve more innovation. All things considered, we were going to rate this a 10 and nominate it for game of the year, however, due to the lack of multiplayer, it shall be rated -0.1 and be blacklisted from teh intranets.

First time players: do what I did - play to level up Frank, lose, restart, THEN worry about playing the game to play it. I got up to a point where even so called toys (stuffed bear, toy laser sword) were killing zombies.

I went from loving to loathing this game in record time. The "Carlito sniping you while old man hangs" boss battle is a real pain in my butt. I guess I'll have to go find a sniper rifle of my own, because his aim is too fast and perfect to compete with a hand/nail gun. I'm tempted, though, to just give up on the cases and play my way -- especially if future battles will be equally as aggravating.

The trick is too level up the first few (incomplete) runs and then things like boss battles are a cake walk. I got too level 31 and now I can run through the game like the zombies are toddlers. I just beat it last night after a week off and got the A ending. I might finish the over time mode If I don't get a good offer. EB/GS are offering $30 for it and selling it for $54 so I'm going to try and sell it here. I only bought it new so Capcom will continue Xbox 360 support.

just get the SMG and stand behind the piller closest to the sports store. When I was playing he just stood there while me and brad shot him. It was kinda sad.

I ran out of SMG ammo and was worried but I went into the store and got a hockey stick and took care of him very quickly. I was only a level 13, so you should be fine. You just have to know some of the techniques to beating bosses.

i brought the machine gun from the convict's truck and killed him right quick

Can someone help me out here?

I'm trying to get the achievement for saving all the survivors, but the 3 survivors from the gun shop late in the game are proving to be extremely problematic. Sometimes they show up, sometimes they don't.. it seems completely random to me. (I showed up once and they were there. Died and loaded again, came back at the same time and they were not.) Had to start over 3 times now because of this so it's really starting to piss me off. Is there a specific time frame of when they will and won't be there or is it just luck?

I'm not sure I could convince myself I was having fun if I just power-leveled to the point where all challenge was neutered from the game.

Does the truck stick around outside once you've killed the convicts? I didn't see it, but really didn't look again.

I have no idea where there's an SMG; I tried to hit the gun store, but got shot to shit by some crazy hick. This game doesn't seem to make it too easy to find what you need when you need it. It's almost like Mega Man, in that you need the right weapon to defeat certain bosses. If you don't have that weapon, well, you're screwed.

I finally did beat Carlito -- the way I can only assume the game intended -- with two normal handguns, and a couple of coffee creamers to replenish energy after uber-cheap hits. I hid in a shop until he was facing Brad, and then took aim. You really have to be good with the (crappy) manual targeting. All told, I think it took me 15 tries to finally beat him.

Though I didn't use it, I appreciate the advice fellow CAGs gave me.

Help and where to find a SMG:

This fight is actually pretty easy. The SMG is in Paradise Plaza. Go halfway up the stairs and then jump to the blue awning to your right. Walk on that awning all the way to the end to find the SMG. While you are at it go pick up the Katana on the awning outside of the Coffee Shop on the second floor of this area as well.

Now when the battle starts, just go up the escalator and go to the opposite side that Brad does when you reach the top. Now, use the pillars as cover and keep moving to the next one as he shoots at Brad. Pretty soon you will be behind Carlito and then you can either shoot him with the SMG or if you are quick enough you can get up close and just slash him with a hunting knife or the Katana. He'll try and run away and throw some grenades, but it doesn't take too much to kill him.

I think for the most part all the boss fights are easy if you have a bladed weapon (especially the katana or small chainsaw, which I think is the best weapon in the game). Very fast weapons that do great damage. If you're having trouble getting close, make a quickstep smoothie. Then the game is easy.

One sad thing that happened to me: I was waiting out the last few hours on the roof and I stepped off the helipad just as the timer went off. You HAVE to be on the helipad to get Ending A. I had to restart from my last save (which was a little ways back) to get the other ending.

any knife does really good damage on bosses. quick and easy. Sometimes the shock gun works great as well.

The convicts will return 3 or 4 times during each day's sundown even against the fact you killed them before. Once you've entered another part of the mall, the humvee will vanish.

i've fought the convicts 3 times in one run.

also the helicopter respawns :(

Urgh. So I'd have to kill those bastards again -- which I only did thanks to the tiny chainsaws from the dead clown. Those chainsaws which broke in that fight. I heard something about a sniper rifle for the convicts, but I don't know where one is. Probably the gun shop, which itself has a derranged dork with a shotgun who blasts me to bits before I can do a damn thing. Sounds like goose chase after goose chase.

I will go after the SMG, as mentioned by Shipwreck, however.

the easiest way to kill them is to get them stuck on a tree and kill the guy on the machinegun with your smg or katana if you can get close to him, once he's gone you can run up to the back of the humvee and grab the machine gun off of it, then you can finish the other two or run with your booty.

I've got a quick question, i'm in the last few hours of my first run through the game and after certain gun toting individuals show up, all the people i've rescued have disapeared, do i have to re-rescue them from somewhere?

No don't worry about it keep going...
I heard though that if you destroy the humvee, they won't respawn. Can anyone confirm?
If you're talking about the convicts, I killed them on the first night and shot their vehicle to the point where it was no longer driveable, and they still respawned later in the night. (shrug)
I feel bad for missing such a great game... yet I feel it is my cagly duty to hold out.
Its Capcom and its a popular game that is selling pretty well. You'll be waiting for quite a while if you're waiting for it to drop. Look at Resident Evil 4 for PS2, that thing is still at the original price.

yes, if you get in it and drive it into walls until it dies, it will not come back.

pity too, it lasted like 10x longer than the car. wouls be cool to reuse it.
