(DEAD) Shinobi (The Movie) 9.99 on sale at Best Buy, Online and B&M

THE SALE IS OVER! I went to my local Best Buy tonight to pick up The Departed, decided to pick up Shinobi too. I checked out and it rang up at 9.99 instead of the usual 14.99. Pretty good for not having to abuse Google Checkout or anything. It's two discs, something that most retailers somehow failed to mention. it was a decent movie. It kinda reminds me of Naruto during the Chuunin exams where you find out each character's powers. It moves very fast and starts in the middle of the story instead of the beginning. I enjoyed it but then again, I wish it was longer...a lot longer

The movie was ok. I fell asleep halfway in. I personally prefer Azumi part 1 over this though. I'd probably go the route animemaniac14 went though.

On another note, I noticed there's a "shinobi" series in the anime section. It's Live action and was wondering if anyone knew anything about that. The box was white.

It wasn't that bad of a movie. Basically a live action of the manga/anime "BASILISK". Overall it's decent for what you're paying.

It's a tv show. I heard it wasn't very good. And I assume it is in the anime section because its published by ADV here in the states.

I just watched it. It was very entertaining there wasnt a part in the movie where I was bored. But the ending was very disappointing. Thats just my 2 cents. I think it was well worth the $10 though ^_^
