(DEAD) Sony Deepdiscount Blu Ray Bogo

Thanks OP. Actually some decent deals in there.

Ordered Ghosts of Mars and National Security for 10.15 shipped!

Maybe will go back later and get something else.
Nice deal on Breaking Bad on blu-ray, S1 + 2 for $35.52 shipped

$16.50 for Damages: Season 1 is also a great buy.
Awesome! I'm so going for breaking bad.

EDIT: Went for Damages season 1 and BB season 1 since both are the same price. Then I did two BB season 2, I'll find a home of some kind for the second one. But BB is out of stock. :( I'm still waiting for some Blu Ray movies from the last sale. My copy of Contact may never f'ing show up...

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Digibook is the only version available.

Holy crap, this doesn't even follow the number one cardinal rule of B1G1? I have three movies for 20.XX in my card, and I added a 15.10 movie just for kicks. All three movies for 20.XX are down to 10.XX. Then I got the 15.10 movie for 7.XX
That's so sweet! I guess I didn't need to get that second copy of Breaking Bad season 2. I'll probably remake the order and have everything in one order.

EDIT: Goddamn it, I just checked my order history. Contact and the Orphanage is still open and unshipped. I really want those two movies too.
It looks like it takes 50% off both items in the cart instead of just setting the lowest priced item to $0.
Yup. I put 4 Blu-Ray titles in my cart, 3 of the 4 were different prices, and I got half off each one regardless of their regular price... which was SWEET! ;)

Thanks OP!!!

I think this is their best sale yet. Just some solid pick ups in there and as confirmed by Terps, you don't even need to match up the prices for the full savings.

I looked a little into Moon. It looks so solid. Anyone seen it?

I watched it day one in theaters. It's a very solid movie. This is the kind of science fiction that follows in the footsteps of 2001 or Solaris. I think it falters a bit in its emotional resonance but it aspires to much, and I certainly admire the effort.

Its a great movie, some of the people I watched it with found it slow but I think they were expecting something else. Very well done sci-fi movie.

Just picked up Moon, District 9, Black Dynamite and Zombieland for $40. Great deal.

Yeah, as much as I love Star Wars, it quite nearly effected a permanent shift in the cinematic landscape for sci-fi. When people hear sci-fi, they expect laser rifles, outer space dogfights, and fantastic alien creatures. That's not to say that I don't I enjoy those things, but we also need more quiet, contemplative films like Moon.

Getting Ghosts of Mars and Ray Harryhausen Box Set for less than last weeks amazon price of $50. My total price is $39.28.
Does anyone know the detailed differences between the two versions of Stranger Than Fiction?
dvdbeaver.com has details on the transfer(s) i believe, but i think the special edition - the one with the ensemble cast cover - is the way to go, with way more special features

AWESOME!
I had $17.94 left sitting in my U.S. Paypal account and it wasn't worth it to move that over to my JP account with the terrible exchange rate.
I just picked up Moon and The Craft for $17.68 shipped! $8.84 per movie? Yes, please!

Thanks so much for the heads up OP!

Thanks, checked out Moon, definitely had good ratings. It seems to be a movie that had good ratings but no one knows to much about it (mainstream). Anyway, bought that movie and also All Saints Day (Boondock Saints II). $20.xx is not that bad for movies like these. Thanks OP for telling us about this deal. The sad part is the waiting time. As one poster said probably late October/early November for a delivery since most movies are out of stock right now.

Typical. Three of the four titles I bought are out of stock. But somehow they're be shipped separately from the in-stock item a week apart and both will arrive on the same day.

Ordered Breaking Bad S1 & S2...been waiting on a good price for these. Blind buy alone on recommendations I've gotten on the show.

You will not be disappointed.

I'll say this, Moon is the best movie I've seen this year that I heard nothing about until I watched it. Pretty good and one of the best movies I've seen in a while.

Moon and District 9 were two of my top movies from 2009. PQ and AQ on both are great, and the AQ on D9 is reference quality, especially at the end sequences.

Moon is a nice 60s/70s style classic SF movie in the vein of 2001. Great movie that went under the radar in 2009. Highly recommended.

District 9 is a great lower-budget SF movie that Peter Jackson helped to produce, and it's a great thought-provoking movie with some fantastic action. Also highly recommended.

I bought both at release and feel like I have more than my money's worth. Picking both up at under $20 total is a no-brainer.

Thank you!

Moon is awesome! I've been waiting to pick that up, and Black Dynamite! I guess DD will get my business again even though I just received 8 e-mails telling me they are super backordered on titles I bought in the last B1G1. They gave me an option to cancel those titles, but I just left them....one day they'll show up! lol

I was thinking about getting Moon and District 9, but I decided to get Breaking Bad instead. The series is just too good, and I know I am going to pick them up no matter what. Too bad it is back ordered, but I can wait.

Despite the fact that it takes forever to get stuff, the prices were too good not to pick something up. Got Moon and District 9.

Dang, didn't realize this BOGO just took 50% off the total. I probably should have gone in for a $20 movie and a $15 one and saved myself a few dollars. Oh well. The only two I found that I wanted were Zombieland and Casino Royale so I picked those up for $20.26. Not a bad deal at all for two movies I've been waiting patiently for. Considering they're both on backorder, it looks like I'll be waiting for a bit longer.
Just curious has anyone's breaking bad s1 and/or 2 shipped? I still haven't heard anything from them.
Yeah, me neither
