If you are lucky to live near an Alco, you might want to stop by and pick one up.

If the PSP doesn't float your boat, you can pick up the Nintendo DS for $90.00 bucks + tax instead. "

One of the few times I wish I lived in the midwest. ;)

I've never even heard of the IL towns that they have stores in.
Anyone willing to pick up a DS and ship it to me?
If I weren't buying a PSP, then yes I would. I could try to coerce one of my friends to do it for me, but I'm not sure if my credit card could take the hit of both right now.
You're crazy.
Why? I never play my GBA SP... and I never would play a PSP either. If I can't play it on the big screen it just isn't worth it.

Too bad these stores are in the smallest towns in the US! I would have to drive nearly 2 hours to get to these stores. It's not worth it...besides what if they don't have an Xbox or PS2 system.

Man who would have thought having an ALCO sort of close would be a good thing!? I've got one about 26 miles away will be going as soon as I get off work tomorrow afternoon. Of course the last time I was at an ALCO was probably at least 1 - 2 years ago, I seem to recall they didn't have much of an electronics section.

I'd have to drive 7. I just need to find me a friend who lives nearby...

If they carry game hardware at all, I'll bet every Fatwalleter near every store will get a bunch of these coupons and clean them out, then hit Ebay for a tidy profit.

Do you think we can just print off the coupon? If not where can I get an ad? I live 25 minutes from an Alco but I've never been to one before.

Also, small town chains like This, and Hastings, like to gouge their custumer base by charging more than retail on things. Its part of their strategy about not having to compete with the boys in the big city.

Example:

In their ad, it says Nintendo DS, marked DOWN to 149.99, regularly 159.99.

We used to have an Alco near my town. Sadly, this was 10+ years ago! (Does Alco even have videogames?) I would've (probably) got a PSP at that price!
None near me. Bummer!
OHhh dang it. I wanted a PSP too and getting one for 150 is awesome... None where I live.
but it seems like you could only use one coupon per person, I doubt they'd one person do that to them.
Different registers, different stores, getting your little brother to do one, or just having uncaring employees. Remember the one-time use TRU coupons?

The closest one is about 170 miles from me... not worth it, IMO. That's at least 5 hours worth of driving (total), time I don't have to waste.

Ooooh yea. Gotta lot of lovin' from that coupon spree.

I checked the Alco's in IL and I've never heard of these towns. Gibson City, Havana, Hillsboro, Nashville, Newton, Red Bud and Shelbyville(Doh!). I was hoping there'd be one in either Ogdenville or Capitol City.

Hastings does mark up.

They had a Super Dodge Ball Advance that they had hiding in back that they just put out the other day. I could not resist. Price: $39.99 + tax (total was $43 something). Ouch! Wanted this game since before it came out.

Thank the gods somebody else is willing to admit that they too exploit deals to make a little extra scratch.

I hope your hide is as flameproof as mine.

I'm sure somebody will start whining about how making a profit is wrong sooner or later.

Gipson City! Thats 30 minutes away from me!

And i've gone tubing in lake Shelbyville. Its hick town, USA.

Anyone actually been to one of these stores? I'm not driving an hour if I don't know that they even have a real electronics department.

Might be better to use this on a larger cost item like a tv, plasma, george foreman grill, something that could sell for big chunk of profit.

I dont think this store is packing high price items. I wouldnt be surprised if the PSP is the highest price thing they carry. Seriously. Just a hunch though.

What are the blasted store hours?!

Nashville is not even 30-60 minutes away from me so I might have to hit them up tomorrow for a PSP. I'm trying to talk my friend into getting one as well. He is wanting to use the 40% on NCAA 06.
