Got a $35 Best Buy gift card, and kinda only wanting to pay a difference of about $10..$15 at most...so, uh, yeahhhhh...
 
I think this thread is about whether the OP should buy it or not, and so that's what I'm gonna talk about.

Yes. Buy it. The game has gotten great reviews so far, and for as cheap as you're saying you could make it, it's a steal on release.
 
Yes, OP SHOULD buy it, but he probably won't because apparently, the max he is WILLING to pay is $50 (with GC) for it.

Well, if the OP was a CAG, he'd remember that BB has a $10 GC bonus for RZGC members who preorder. Bringing his total after rewards to $50!!;)
 
Haha...my intention as not to get recommendation on whether or not to buy the game; cause that's def. gonna happen.

It was more of a...how can I coerce/trick Best Buy into selling it for $45/50. ;)

The release day is tomorrow..so i still have time to go preorder at my local store, but I would really like to not pay a big difference...especially if i cna land a LE.

I already sold New Vegas into BB for the $30 gc...and I can do the same with Fable 3 or AC Brotherhood for another $30...but i have yet to play those, and I WANT to beat em.

Oh well...maybe i should just preorder tonight..pick up tomorrow
 
Well, here's what I would do.

Preorder from the site tonight. Either version, depending on what you want.

You can deduct the GC immediately from your purchase, and wait for the rewards. So, the game is either $50 or $70 depending on what you get.

Go pick it up tomorrow.

Piece of cake, and you get an awesome game at an awesome price for release day!!!!!!

i seem to have run into a problem...my GC only has $30 on it, and when I add the GC to the order total..it says the remaining $58.xx will be applied to the gift card...ummmm..if they want to give me the game for only $30 and lose $28.xx, be my guest, but how can i simply add the $30, and then my debit card?

I really would like to take advantage of the freebie 500 RZ points if i can

EDIT: It turns out when i sold New Vegas to Best Buy...the girl put $60 on the card instead of $30!!!! Friggen WINNNNN!!!!!

Aghhhhh...turns out the GC was a glitch or fluke, because when I checked the balance again today..it went down to $30.

Sooooo, I bit the bullet and traded in Fable 3 to BB also and got another $30 gc. I figured kube was right...Fable 3 will tank pretty soon and should be an easy $20 pickup or so

wtsmystuff.com has Dead Space 2 the pc version for $37.99. I haven't bought that game yet but I bought DC Universe Online and a few other games in the past with them. I usually get the game really quick.

So weird, people are idiots. My code is selling for just about $4.xx, but it's still got 2 days left and five watchers. Bid, morons, bid! Any money I get from that will make me happy.

However, I am selling a regular Dead Space2 (sealed), and the bid is still at $25. Don't get it.
