Dead Space (360) - $10 - Wal-Mart

I went to Wal-Mart this morning and Dead Space scanned at $10.00 (even though it was advertised as $19.96). Online shows $19.96 but in the stores it should be $10.00 even. I don't think this is YMMV. Cool deal for one of the top 25 games of all time for xbox 360 according to IGN.COM

Surprised there isn't a thread about this since you couldn't see what all games they had on sale in the ads.

They also had (at $10 price point):

Godfather 2
Lord of the Rings: Conquest

and many others

Stuff was already picked through by the time I got there so hopefully other CAGs will have a better list.
 
They had it marked as $10 at my Walmart...and just picked it up off Goozex for $20 worth of points two weeks ago. :(
 
PS3?? can anyone confirm? cause i'd be all over it for $10. if not, i'm not goin anywhere near walmart today lol
 
I bought Dead Space for the PS3 on Wednesday for $10. They also had some fallout 3 expansion packs for the 360 for $10 as well.
 
i saw it for 360 for $10, dont know about the PS3 version but the other $10 games had both a 360/PS3 Version, too bad i missed out, everything was pretty much empty by the time i got there :(
 
Bah, just bought it for 17.99 on the B2G1 deal @ GS. I should be thankful I'm using built up GS credit vs actual cash, I suppose. :)
 
I went for GTA IV and Midnight Club: LA, finding Dead Space was a pleasant surprise! Basically got the last copy of each game, damn lucky or just good timing. :)

My store has had a stand with the $10 games in it for at least a week or 2. Both the ps3 and 360 copies had the blue stickers.

i don't think it was advertised, it's certainly not $10 on their website. Maybe we should clue amzon in ;)
 
Also saw (for the 360) Midnight Club: LA Complete Edition, NFS:Undercover and Secret Service. $10 each.

Uh, yes it was. It was just that they didn't list all the titles and only pictured maybe 20 on the whole page of $7, $10, $25 deals. Still surprised that we didn't get a report on the full inventory from somebody who was there at opening from a CAG. Maybe we all stayed home and shopped at Amazon, so no reason for Amazon to price match those. . .

I wish somebody would have posted the list of $7 and $10 games at walmart. Went in, but my walmart was already pretty much raided. Still, managed to get UFC (the one I wanted) and got lucky and found the last copies of spider man 3 and transformers (old PH style) for $10. I guess you can add those two to the list.

I wouldn't even try. I went at about 9 AM and the shelf was completely empty. Your chances of finding the game now is slim to none.
 
I would try!! I just did and found a copy! It's 4:50pm here, I saw this thread and hopped in the car. My wal mart had 2 copies marked 19.99 in the glass case. I told an associate about reading online that it was $10, so they scanned it and sure enough it rang up $10! So there's plenty still out there, and it seems to be $10 no matter what the sticker says.

Of course try. It depends on the Wal-Mart how quick these went, or if they sell out at all.

Even more reason it would have been nice to find a list somewhere.
 
Picked up Need for Speed Shift for 360 for $25 also got Dead Space for $10. Need for Speed was a nice surprise, I did not really want it but gonna try to trade it for Batman for 360 hopefully.
 
Thats what I got, MC LA complete is a GREAT deal for $10 if you can still find it.

NFS Undercover / Secret Service, obviously lesser games, couldn't resist for $10 though.

Yep .. saw several copies of them around noon time at 2 of the Pasadena Walmarts stores .. already have it but damn that game is so worth it at $25 bucks

I tried 3 Wm's and wasnt able to snag MC or Godfather II.....Got everything I wanted from BF except those two.

When I went out for Black Friday to our Walmart here, we got their an hour and a half early and almost all the Door Busters had already been torn out of packaging and everyone was waiting till 5 AM for the registers to start ringing stuff up. They did have Dead Space, and all the other 10$ games left besides GTA IV though, but I didn't pick them up.

I actually think the Meijer BF sale was better, all games 19.99 or under were half off. I managed to find the one game I was still looking for my my step son, Star Wars Clone Wars Lightsaber Duels for the Wii for $10 dollars. Other notables , I guess, as I only looked at the Wii Games, was Lego Star wars compelte for 10, force unleashed for 10, Mad world, My sims kingdom, stuff like that all for 10$
 
I saw a platinum hits Dead Space and it did indeed scan at $10, same with LoTR Conquest.

Other than that, the gaming section looked like a bomb went off, the glass cases were all open and, predictably, people went apeshit.
