Pretty Woman is about a man who falls in love with a prostitute. Sin City had naked women all throughout it. SP had women half naked who were prostitutes in *spoilers* her mind *end spoilers*
I have yet to date a girl who enjoyed movies like SP or Sin City. Heck, when SC came out I was in high school still and I took the girl I was dating then to see it because she knew I wanted to. She had her eyes closed and was disgusted by it the whole time. Has nothing to do with sensitivity. Would you enjoy a movie with a bunch of naked men and women gossiping/talking the whole time? I didn't think so.
Fully naked people in movies is usually porn. Are the women in Sucker Punch not merely scantily clad but fully naked? If they're full on naked, I must admit that it would be a bit weird and no wonder most of the reviews I read for it were bad. I don't mind scantily clad women in movies and don't get all feministic and righteous about it. And no, I don't mind movies with naked/ semi-naked men (I've seen all of The Amateurs and those weren't A-list hunks getting naked).
Personally, I rather enjoyed Sin City (which with what you said, puts me in the minority of women). I still don't understand the big deal about it having prostitutes in it. If it was gratuitous and in no way connected to the story, then yeah that'd raise an eyebrow. But it's a movie called "Sin City". The title doesn't exactly imply the wholesomeness of the characters from Pleasantville. I really do think, despite your feelings, that some girls just have different tastes and sensitivities towards these things. To me, Sin City was a cool action movie that was beautifully done.
