Awesome deal. If I wasn't in the middle of VJ1 and backlogged beyopnd belief with other games I'd pick this up...
 
This is incredibly tempting but I've got so many other games to play and I've already spent so much on games this holiday season. I'd also like to know whether this is a sale price or not...

Someone on the Gaming-Age forums said that this is a temporary price drop for the holiday season, so buy it now if you want it for $30

Exact same situation for me. No need for me to get this one until I beat the first (which I love). If I had beaten the first one by now, I would get this. Just cant justify it right now though :(

Doesn't it cost $10 to do that reservation rewards anyway? I remember hearing it was a scam, since they charge your credit card and not tell you.

reservation rewards gives you a 30 day free trial, so you can sign up, use their voucher, and cancel. I've done it a couple times. It works. The only thing you have to watch out for is remembering to cancel before 30 days, and also don't sign up for their free trial twice within a 6 months period or you might get blacklisted from EB for awhile. If your responsible about both those things it's a legit deal.
 
Excellent! That's just the incentive I needed to pick this one up. The first VJ was amazing. I just hope no one's already got it for me for Christmas.

The original VJ took a long time to drop this low. The Wal-Mart deal was a fluke.

I'm in the same boat--haven't finished VJ1 so will wait.
 
wow -- I bought this one at Best Buy for $34.99 (used a GGC) not long after it came out ... no regrets, though. After playing the first one almost over a year ago, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the sequel. Worth every dime.
 
I was just about to post that, good find misbitski. On the subject of the game, it truly is incredible. I, of course, beat it the day after it came out, but it took slightly longer on Adults. By comparison, though, the leap from Kids to Adults is nowhere near the leap from Adults to V- Rated. I got my ass kicked on the first set of guys, then got my first Game Over ever before beating the level. Viewty comes from within.

edit: *sigh* It's the Christmas season, so I guess good try, but just try to look a little harder. Some people here are members of the repost nazi organization.
 
Wow! $25 for VJ2! that's a quick price drop! hasn't it only been about a month since its release?

that's gotta be a record or something.

anyhow, BB is now the same price as EB, so GGC it to the same price.

might as well make the new price point for new console releases at $29.99 *cough*PC*cough*
