(DEAD)X-men destiny for xbox 360 $44.99 + $10 Credit Amazon

I'm interested in this game but I've heard it's really rough still and they dev isn't either taking the time or has the time to clean it up proper.

I'm thinking this will be an easy one to snag for $20 inside of 6 months past release.

but this one with an accelerated speed of 194% faster than usual.

If this game launched at $20, it'd be a day 1 purchase for me. I love x-men but I can't justify spending $45 (with $10 credit) for it.

Is it me or does this have a look of an Arcade game that was decided to be printed on disc.

Instead of making this bullshit game, how bout X-Men Origins Wolverine 2. Hopefully they dont make another god-awful movie but I finished the first 1 today and it was fun as hell. I can see why some people call it the best superhero movie videogame. ( Please dont start ranting that Spiderman 2, or Thor, or Green Lantern, or whomever is the best)
Also the developers of Blood Omen, Eternal Darkness, and Twin Snakes.

Is one average game really enough to make you forget about the games before it?
You're really going to trust a developer based on games that came out 9 and 7 years ago?

And calling Too Human average is being charitable.

It's probably because Wolverine was made by a completely different developer.

This game really doesn't look that bad. I think people just want to hate it.

yeah X-Men Origins Wolverine is probably the best comic book "movie" game ever

I tried the demo at Comic Con and I was disappointed to say the least. The combat is surprisingly dull, maybe the final product will be more exciting but I'm not holding my breath. Just wait till the 2012 sales and get it for the $20 range.

The graphics look fine sure it isn't uncharted 3 graphics but they aren't bad why are people just hating on this game looks ok to me.

Thanks op this was not on my radar at all but the trailer made me put a preorder in and decide later. I got to many games preordered the next 2 months so most likely will cancel it. I am not sure if this will drop like a rock fast or not after watching the trailer. I think it will be fun but get boring after 4-8 hours tops. :)
How long did you play it at pax?

why exactly is it not a good game? bad controls? bad level design?

I'm not doubting you.. I would like to know if I should keep my preorder.
15-20 minutes.

Controls were fine, the game plays very similar to Too Human(which I don't think is a bad thing). I played the first part of the game and it just seemed really weird, but again I enjoyed it. I couldn't tell if the level design is bad, but just awkward.

As you can tell from the videos, the graphics just aren't very good, but neither were Too Humans and I still enjoyed it.

I would say wait for a massive price drop and it seems pretty obvious this game will bomb.

I'm really grateful for the gameplay video, it's rather telling of this game's quality. There's a reason it isn't launching later in the year, after all. I got the "repetitive beat-em up" feel from what I saw (would rather play Fist of the North Star, if that's the case), and I'm glad I'm not a graphics snob for not finding the visuals that great. I'm hoping Spider-Man's game is better, but who are we kidding? It's a shame this $35 price point didn't happen to another upcoming game, what a waste.
