I'm thinking I should have cancelled this with my bank long ago. But I did this with my check card, and I'm not sure if it is any different to dispute a charge with a bank versus credit card company.

Does it have a VISA logo on it? If so, then you can. If not, I'm not sure...

Nah, that still wouldn't be cheap enough for them. They'll wait until they are clearing it out for Revolution titles...
 
Just a reminding bump to anyone that's still waiting for this one. I nearly forgot I ordered this, and I cancelled it last week so I could get my money back from these asshats. Is anyone still waiting this one out? If so, good luck, I'd be surprised if this doesn't hit 19.99 everywhere soon enough.
 
Yeah, I keep forgetting I ordered it too. I'm going ot cancel the order here soon. Do I have to call in to get it back on my CC, because I thought I remember reading that they just give store credit otherwise.
 
Once cancelled they will credit your DVDsoon.com account. You then need to go to the site, fill out a form with your CC number, and then (several weeks later) they will credit your CC account.
 
Yeah, as long as you follow their directions and fill out the form to get it credited back to your CC, they do it rather quickly. I had to do this a while back for a different game.
 
SHAQ-FU I bothered to get refunded on the 2 zeldas i ordered last year bc i thought they might eventually fill the order and then i forgot about it and just now i got an email saying dvdsoon is shutting down their operations and not going to honor any of the credit they owe me.

i think my head is going to explode

edit that first line should read "i never bothered"
 
i did a chargeback against dvdsoon when they cancelled my Farscape dvd order saying they werent in stock, seeing that they were selling them as "in stock", and gave me store credit in return. No wonder they shut down
 
hmm i did pay with a credit card, maybe i can do a chargeback, but i think it has been over a year. It is worth a shot anyways
