[DEAD] Zelda: Minish Cap (GBA) $19.99 Outpost.com

I guess Ill order too. I'm going on a little trip for a couple days next week and the release of Minish Cap falls in between. Hopefully it'll be waiting for me at home when I get back.
 
Awesome! First game I bought this year. But I accidentally misspelled my email. Is there a way I can change it so that I can view my order?

try calling them on the phone, i have a feeling the free ship option will vanish in the morning.
 
Thanks OP I got my order in, didn't expect such a good deal so close to release date I was thinking about picking this up for full price when I go in to my local EBgames on Tuesday and pick up RE4 but you saved me about $10.
 
Oooo, Nice. I'm tight on money and didn't spend anythin' on games this holiday season (tough I know), so this is nice. I contemplatin' on this game but this price settled it.

Outpost.com charges tax for any state that has a Fry's. Owned by the same company.

I'd call this a dead deal. It's at $24.99 and the free shipping offer is gone, behaved this way all the way to the end of the transaction to check it.

Mods or OP should modify the OP that it's dead.
 
That sucks for the rest of you. Earlier, Resident Evil 4 was giving me some problems with free shipping, but it went away about 10 minutes later.
 
so now it is 31 dollars after tax and ship? YAY, we killed it! mission accomplished!

these free ship/low price deals from outpost never last for more than a day or so.
 
crap, I knew I should have orderd this in the morning. Oh well, maybe I can get my CC to accept competitor coupons and get it for $18.
 
I changed my mind and order it. Good thing I got in early. I decide I could buy a copy at store at full price and return the copy I got from outpost, that way I can play it right away.
 
I ordered early on and it did say backordered. I'm wondering if I should just go buy it at CC so I'm able to have a copy at a cheap price just in case this doesn't pan out.
 
Check back a page or two...its backordered because it isnt available yet. It will be shipped when they are available. Dont worry.

Yeah, looks like I'll be doing the same thing. Got my order in in time to get the original deal, but now it's on backorder, so who knows when it will actually arrive. Will just pick up a copy from CC or Target and return the Outpost copy whenever it arrives.

Back ordered, but I'm thinking it will ship on Monday/Tuesday. Either that or they'll cancel the order and I'll never use Outpost.com again (Honest)...
 
For all of you whining about your copy being on backorder... I hope that you realize that the game doesn't even ship to sellers until today or tomorrow.

For those of you who have never ordered with Outpost.com, let me clear up some items for you:

1) Items ordered on a pre-order, like this one, are considered to be "backordered" by Outpost.com, because it's not in stock. If it's not in stock, it takes their system a couple of days to see that the item is "backordered" by not being in stock, and then fires out an email like the one posted above.
2) They will authorize your credit card at the time of the order, though they won't bill the card until it ships. Since this is supposed to be available Tuesday or Wednesday, this is when the actually charge will hit your card.
3) If you preorder an item a great deal in advance, such as I did with Kingdom Under Fire, their system will keep an order alive until 30 days after you placed it. Once the 30 days happen, they'll send you a second email, letting you know that the item is still out of stock, and will auto-cancel the order in a few days if you don't email them back.

With The Minsh Cap, there shouldn't be an issues with the order going through, since it's shipping this week. If it was for something that won't ship for a while, like Doom 3, then you would need to keep an eye on your emails to make sure it doesn't get auto-cancelled out from under you.

I just checked my order on outpost.com and it doesn't even show up. I called up their customer service and they couldn't find the order. They said that I can reorder but there isn't free shipping. She also said that they had over 1000 orders and the system shows only 600 on back order and the rest of the orders were cancelled. She wouldnt even reprocess my order and give me free shipping. You should check your order. Outpost's website was acting up when I ordered so that might have been the problem but she wasn't being helpful at all.
