I have a lot of game guides that I picked up off a garage sale. Apparently this guy had them from a Nintendo subsidiary or something. As a result, I have a lot of game guides that are in excellent condition with the exception of a number written on the front cover (I assume for identification).

These are rare and go for quite a bit on Ebay, so I'd only trade if I feel that it seems fair and even.

Anyway, I have the following:

Final Fantasy 3 (or FF6) - 2, Mint condition with numbers on front
Super Metroid - 3, worn but in good condition, with numbers on front
Earthbound - 2, excellent condition, numbeed
Chrono Trigger - 2, Mint, numbered
Super Mario All Stars
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - Excellent condition, a label on the front

The FFMQ one is particularly rare. I haven't seen one of these on eBay since I've had this one.

I also have the first five issues of Nintendo Power, all in excellent condition, with very tiny scratches or marks of any other kind.

I'm putting these up to see if there is any interest. If not, I will be putting them on eBay this coming weekend under the name mister_strell! in case anyone wishes to bid.

If people want to BUY, offer me money. I will be checking eBay's completed bids to see if your offer is somewhat in the ballpark of what they go for. I'm reasonable, I assure you.

If anyone wants to trade a game, here is a short list (all lists and offers will be considered!!):

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter (PS2)
P.N. 03 (GC)
Skies of Arcadia Legends (though I doubt this is worth a trade)
Suikoden 3 (PS2)
Phantasy Star Collection (GBA)
Chrono Cross (PS)
Contra: Shattered Soldier (PS2)
MGS2: Substance (PS2)
Dragon Warrior 7 (PS)

Non-CC games:

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes (GC)
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (GC)
Prince of Persia (GC)
Beyond Good and Evil (GC)
Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (PS2)
Amplitude (PS2)
Legend of Mana (PS)
Sword of Mana (GBA)
Any of the GBA Castlevanias (Harmony, Aria, etc.)
La Pucelle (PS2)
Ogre Battle (N64)
Sin and Punishment (N64)
Final Fantasy: CC (GC)
**EBgames has DBZ: Budokai 2 for PS2 for 15 new right now. I'd consider that as a trade if you included something else for a mag. just fyi! :)**

Other things:
Invader Zim pillowcase (stop laughing you asses :) )

Thanks for looking!!!

Ah, yes... the FF:MQ guide is rare because the only way one could have gotten it was by sending in a card that came with the game.

I'm interested in the Mario Allstars guide (Is it Mario Mania by any chance?), but the only game I have off of your list is BoF:DQ.

I may want a Chrono Trigger one too, although I think those sell for more than I'm willing to offer (Hey, man, I'm a cheapass!).

I'll post here if I find more stuff FT.

Ok, I went ahead and uploaded some pics. If these ever go down, it's because Photobucket is being stupid, but these should be available ...99% of the time.

I forgot to mention that I had that NES Game Atlas guide as well. Also I have two copies of the Animal Crossing "NES Link" e-reader card. It was an insert inside, I think, one of the subscriber bonus issues of NP, which ends up being the January issue. The card alone is very rare and goes for a bit on eBay - I woudln't really consider a game an equal trade, but if anyone has some 5 dollar CC games laying around, it might be equal. Just makes offers, I look at them all :) and I'm not goign to rip anyone off.

Also if anyone wants more pics or more close-ups, I will be happy to oblige!

You can see some of the scratches/minute blemishes on the guides in these pics, as well as the number. For example, the FFMQ one has a tiny tear in the top right corner. You can also see the numbers written on the front. Again, these things are in excellent condition even with these minor imperfections, and they ARE collector's items in terms of art and nostolgia. The CT one in particular is beautiful to look at (but then again I'm a huge fan of Akira Toriyama).

Anyway, I'll respond to all PMs and I have PMed everyone in this topic.

Thanks for looking!!!
Man I have those same games ... I fight with myself all the time to keep me from selling or trading them.
No man, I think he just has the guides... :?

I still can't believe you found all these. I have the game guides too, but I never got them all at one time from one place. Just curious, how much did he sell those to you for?
