I picked this up at bestbuy, but I am scared to open it since I am not a 100 percent sure about whether it is a good deal.

Deal all the way. I'm going to have to check out my best buy and see if I can get one of those for $30. n

It was on the %50 clearance rack at my local BB. They had the PS3 version at $30 as well.

I picked up the normal edition for $20 after trading in two games I got on clearance for $5 or less to Gamestop during what seemed like their perpetual 'trade 2, pay X, get one of these newer games' deals recently.

However, I loathe every game Bethesda makes, so I sold it to a buddy of mine for $30-40 back when it was still $60 and he's been enjoying the hell out of it.

If you like futuristic shooters, then it's for you and $30 is a decent deal for it. Otherwise, there are better games to spend your money on(Little Big Planet, GTA IV, etc).

GTAIV was boring as hell IMO.

The offline was dull and they really needed to spice things up, but the online modes are rather fun.

But the lack of weapon powerups for each 10-20 pigeons you annihilate was disappointing and the lack of certain things which were in San Andreas was annoying.

Fully destructible enviro(or at least the damn buildings), parachutes and maybe planes would've made the game more fun.

Definitely a good price. I picked up a copy when the local BBV had them for $20, but I'll probably sell it... not that it's a bad game, but I've got a couple other games to play and I'm sure they'll put out a GOTY edition soon enough.

Yeah, screw GTA IV. You can get it under $20 used, to get a new game for $30, and the CE instead of the normal is great
