Deals on 120GB ps3 Slims?

Hey so I am looking to sell my trusty old 2006 60gb ps3 and get a slim. Reason why is that I figured it'll be better to sell it now while it's still working and get a newer ps3. I could buy a 120gb Slim off Amazon right now for $299 shipped, but I'm in no rush and my ps3 still works so if anyone finds a good deal then I would love to know about it. Thanks!

Trade your PS3 in to Gamestop for 200$ and pay the extra 100$. If you live in a state that doesn't charge tax on credit purchase, you will only get taxed on the 100$ total and not the 300$.

Or you could try selling it through Amazon, Craigslist, Ebay, etc.

I sold my launch 20 gig for 350 a couple months ago on amazon. I tried craigslist for a couple weeks and nothing. It sold on Amazon within 2 days.

^ I've never sold anything on Amazon before. Is it just like Ebay? Also what's the fee that Amazon will charge me? And wow that must've been quite a item description to get such a high selling price. I've already gotten 2 guys asking me about my 60gb ps3 on Craigslist. I'm selling it for $250 there. If you were asking for $350, then it's no wonder people weren't showing any interest lol.

And I know about the Gamestop promotion guys. But I'm pretty sure I can get more money selling my ps3. And I live in New Jersey and I think I would have to pay tax here.

All you have to do is go to the Amazon Marketplace section on Amazon.com and it will explain the fees and everything.
If you're close to NYC, some CAGS are reporting getting 260 credit for 60GB BC ps3 phats.

Yes I live in NJ, about an hour away from NYC. So far I've already gotten 2 ppl interested in my craigslist listing and it's only been 3 days.

I hope a deal comes soon because it seems like I might soon be selling my ps3!

Hopefully the Craigslist thing works, I know cagmanthing sold his in his area with some games for like 400 on CL last week. I tried to sell mine on CL but, my old 40 gig is like the ugly duckling of PS3 family so no one wanted to buy. Traded mine to GS and paid like 120 in addition credit for my new 120 gig slim.

Didn't want to make a new thread, but, I too am looking for a deal on a PS3 120GB system. I just went to the casino last night and hit for 300 bucks, so I figured I'd pick one up.

I've been looking around and haven't found anything to amazing, sucks I just missed out on that Dell deal. Not sure if any of you may have found something I didn't, or heard rumors of an upcoming sale.
