Deals on PS2 systems?

I put my launch-PS2 through surgery because of increasing amounts of disc failures and...it did not go well.

The list price (129.99) isn't too bad but I figured I'd ask here before I went out looking tomorrow

I am really surprised that there was not a price drop at E3. The PS1 took like 3 years to reach $99 and the PS2 is almost 7 years old and still not $99.

I wouldn't doubt it if Sony drops the duece down to $99 right around Thanksgiving... I saw in last month's EGM magazine there's a rumor Sony will package the PS2 with a "motion sensing controller" similar to the Wii and drop the price to 99 bones.

Is like 70 dollars in my local gamestop, probably used already.
