I love this anime, my #1 favorite. I'll agree after a certain event in the anime my interest waned somewhat, but still a fantastic series overall.

Indeed, it is in japanese though. I personally liked the english dub alot.

Any chance I can get it cheaper than $30 in the near future? I love this series, but $30 bucks is expensive for a DVD Set (haven't done that in 2 years). It is a good price considering what some Anime series go for

Near future? I'd guess no- the boxsets are a fairly new release, and Deathnote is pretty popular- I'd guess they'll stick at just over half off for awhile yet.

Absolute earliest I think it's go lower is around Christmas, especially if they opt for a full series boxset in time for holiday shopping.
