Deathproof DVD deals or store bonuses?
I also don't understand why they are releasing the 2 movies seperately either. I thought for sure that they'd be on 1 dvd since it was a double feature. I saw this at the movies and was going to buy the dvd since I like the movies but won't pay to get the movies seperately, I didn't like them that much!
My money is on the bet that the Weinsteins were none too happy with the box office returns, because moviegoers weren't ready to give up 4 hours of their precious lives to something new, different, and completely satisfying in a movie theatre. But Eddie Murphy in a fat suit and a dress with fart jokes? Sign me up, because I've seen that before, I know what I'm getting, and it is safe for me to laugh at because I don't know any better. With a large Pepsi.

I bought the last copy at my Double-B, and I'm very happy I bought it. The movies were so very different from one another, yet compliimented each other very well. I'm a bit miffed that they weren't released on the same day -- maybe the directors didn't want to have a straight-up swordfight with sales numbers. It doesn't matter -- all I know is I have a new Quentin movie waiting for me to watch it over and over again, with a promise of saving a fiver off of Robert's opus in a month. Strange, I feel the need to re-watch Sin City right now...
doubtful, considering it took 3 or so years for a kill bill complete collection to be announced.
And I'm still pissed about the uncut versions not being in the US yet.

This is total BS that the Japanese get the uncut versions and we get the edited.

Damn you MPAA!!!!!

Haven't seen it mentioned but there is a packed in $5.00 off coupon for Planet Terror in the steel box version from BB. My bonus disc is in perfect condition as well as the sleeve so the issue with those are isolated.
I noticed Blockbuster had some Deathproof "stuff" for sale, including a mini poster for $2. Seemed nice
I just called my local Blockbuster to ask about these posters you mentioned, and after about three minutes on hold the dude came back and says, "All we have are pin sets, necklaces, keychains, some stickers, and some other stuff but no posters," to which I responded, "That is a lot of shit."

the bonus disk on the planet terror steel tin is an interview with rodriguez from south by southwest if anyone is curious

it's 30 mins long

harry knowles is on the stage too

didn't watch it yet cause i'm at work but at least they didn't repackage the same thing from death proof

and if you don't own death proof there's a $5 of coupon for it

Bought Planet Terror Steelbook today, but I'm already expecting the combined editions of the movie. I can guarantee that they have several more editions in the works. They haven't even released all of the faux trailers on any set.
