If someone damaged their Vita while removing the skin, why should I pay $2 to risk the same thing happening to me? Thanks for posting anyway.
 
If you read the reddit post they explain why this happens and a solution for it. I just can't find one I actually like.

He commented that this happened a couple years back regarding a model of the Blackberry Curve, he said there's nothing they can do to change the decals since they're all the same material, but he made sure that when you ordered you knew that before you take it off you should let it heat up a bit to make the adhesive weaker. If you've ever skateboarded think the same way you remove grip tape.
 
Who comes up with these terrible skins? A Deer leaping with lightning bolts behind him? I mean come on....who buys that!?
 
Thanks, OP--I ordered the Solid State Orange skin with Matte/Satin finish, though I've yet to get the Vita to go with it. ;)

Those things come off so easily... I've tried one before on the PSP, unless the Skin technology has improved? I would love to decorate my Vita, but not just for few days and the thing starts to peel...

A deer leaping with lightning bolts behind him?! Sounds amazing... but only if it has the phrase "Buck Master" printed somewhere on it.
 
I'm wondering how these skins damaged a Vita...I have the skins for Nintendo DSes, my PSP, my cellphones, and I've never had a problem with them damaging a device upon removal.

The current choices on the Vita page suck, but Decal girl has like a thousand different artwork pieces you can chose from, if you contact them they will make a skin for your device off of any one of those... does this $2 sale apply to that?

Also, some of the skins look better on some devices than others. This skin looks awesome on my cell phone http://www.decalgirl.com/artwork/2597/Queen-Of-Cards but looks like shit on a Vita.
 
the deal doesnt work anymore, it applies the coupon and says it works but when u go to check out it totals back around 15 dollars.

Are you trying to use paypal? Paypal reverted back to $15 for me. I just checked out a minute ago using my credit card on the site and got the deal for $2.

Edit: Code now reads expired when you try to enter it. Looks like I got an order in just before they killed it.
