La Voz de Aztlan obtained a copy of the video showing the beheading of American Jew Nick Berg of Philadelphia. They report that Berg's screams were not in synchrony with the decapitation and that there was a total lack of blood spurting out as his jugular and other veins and arteries were being cut.

They forwarded the video to a surgeon and forensic pathologist in Mexico City for his expert opinion. Doctor Raul Castro Guevara says there is no way that the individual in the video was alive and his heart pumping while his neck was being cut. The doctor adds that in these cases, while the heart is pumping, cutting a person's artery in the neck would cause copious amounts of blood to spurt all over the immediate environment. He says that in his opinion the video is a fraud.

La Voz de Aztlan suggests that people viewing the video scrutinize the height, weight, skin color and mannerisms of the alleged 'masked Iraqis' -- intimating that they're not Arabs at all.

Berg's headless body was found in a ditch on Saturday, his orange jumpsuit had a large "Star of David" drawn on its back.

According to ABCNews, the Berg execution video shows none of the five masked men is wearing gloves. They report that the executioner is wearing a large gold ring, giving off a glare several times during the six-minute tape. Islam forbids the wearing of such a ring.

Here's another tidbit: The Web site that posted the video introduced it in a rather clumsy and unusual manner. "Sheik Abu Musab Zarqawi (pictured) slaughters an American infidel with his hands and promises Bush more," the video's title read. It's as if the writer wants the full power of the U.S. military to focus on one man. Who would want that? Certainly not Sheik Abu Musab Zarqawi.

The video might be a psy-ops scheme. After all, their motto is 'By Way of Deception'. If that's the case, the video surely lessens the impact of the U.S. torture scandal, and redirects the media's attention to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the [very wanted] man conveniently identified as Berg's executioner through "voice analysis," we are told.

At any rate, we do know that people who have their heads slowly sawed off tend to bleed, if they're alive at the time.
 
i personally don't think its a hoax....and i saw an increasing amount of dark fluid forming in a puddle under his head (the first, last, and only time i saw it)

while the conspiracy could be possible....its very cold-hearted and unbelievable that the U.S. would be behind such a thing
 
How can you even imply that the American forces killed Berg?

Muslim religion says a lot of things but one thing that they are better at than everyone is deception and lies. They hid in mosques and kill people then when the mosque is shot at they cry foul.
 
im not sure that he was implying that US forces killed berg....i think he was implying that he was already dead....and the US forces made up the whole thing to look like thats how he died...so that way we would have a renewed hate against the terrorists....which would drown out the screwed up shit that our guys are doing over there with the prison situation
 
This tape is definately not a hoax. But some people form conspiracy theories about everything. 10% of the amrican populace still believes that the Moon Landing was fake. 30% believe that dinosaurs roamed the earth with man. Then there's the whole Kennedy assassination when there is no legitimate evidence that there was a conspiracy of any kind.
 
this was actually a bit of the news that had come out yesterday, and although i dont believe it was anything but 5 iraqies in the background, the possibility he was dead before the beheading is a possibility. When they found him they found other injuries, of which no other information was givin. Any way you put it, a man is dead, and that is bad.
 
Believe it or not, not everything that happens in the world is a conspiracy. Until it's been proven otherwise, assume that it actually happened.

Am I the only one who's sick of this shit? It doesn't matter what happens...someone always assumes that whatever event has occurred is fake and then begins spouting ignorant bullcrap about how it is. Kennedy, the moon landing, the terrorist attacks in 2001...hell, I've even heard people claim that the World Wars were faked. Guess what? Not everything in life is artificial! Sometimes, things actually happen!

Anyone who creates or believes these stupid theories needs to be shot.

It's amazing how people will apologize for doing something so insensitive only after they are called on it.

The DJs should have been forced to apologize but firing them is a little extreme. I'm sure alot of people might have found what they did offensive but on the other hand I bet some people found it funny.
 
i think that anyone who knew the story behind the beheading and how serious and barbaric it was would have never thought about laughing about it...ever...and while i dont entirely wrong someone for laughing about it for not knowing the full story (perhaps they just thought it was a skit?)....i do entirely think that the djs deserved getting fired for the fact that im sure they knew the whole story....

though i will not argue...im just stating my opinon...

besides...dcfox seems to be one of the only actually funny cheap ass gamers that ive seen on here

Opie and Anthony are a bunch of idiots. I remember when they got kicked out of boston for playing an april fool's joke. They said that mayor menino (the mayor of boston) had died in a car accident. The joke got around to the mayor's family who didn't know it was a joke.

I may be mistaken about this but I am pretty sure that Islam forbids murder too. Even if it's war ... Berg was a civilian and that's a clear violation of Islam as well.
 
I don't believe any American forces are behind it, but from watching the video it seems perfectly reasonable to believe that there's a pretty big possibility he was already dead. The video quality was so horrid and it honestly did look fake to me, in the sense that he was already dead.. not that they didn't actually cut his head off. Looks to me like those terrorists are just trying to rile us up, defacing a corpse and deceiving the easily influenced American society.

I don't really believe they would go as far as decapitating a breathing man.. mainly because several terrorist organizations said themselves that they believe doing that was going way too far.. and they all seem to be one in the same.

The video: I think it's definatly possible he was dead. When I watched it, the first thing I said to myself was where the hell is all the blood spurting from the jugular? (that IS the correct vein, right?)

The U.S. is in possession of his body, and I'm sure they're autopsying it to determine the actual cause of death. If he was already dead when he was decapitated, they can find this out pretty easily. Now whether they would release this information to the public is another question entirely. Gruesome as it is, this kind of extreme barbarism is exactly what the Bush gestapo needs to sway Americans' opinions to endorse the kind of brutal tactics that America will need to be successful in this war.

I just want to point out that La Voz de Aztlan is not really a news organization, but an organization almost entirely devoted to the idea of a mass Jewish conspiracy.

This is not a web site interested in promoting truth, but racism. I thought it was a joke or satire web site until I found out that this organization has a lot of support, and actually has ties to politics.

Unless the hoax story is posted on an actual news site or something with any kind of credibility at all, I would suggest that you take it with more than a few grains of salt.

Just because "Islam forbids the wearing of such a ring" doesn't mean that they aren't Muslim. Christianity forbids divorce, but a lot of Christians do it.

I'm not throwing out the hoax idea, I'm just suggesting that the circumstantial evidence that is given here isn't convinving at all. If you want a better argument, look at the link that bobo2k4 posted above. That brings up some important points.

i think ABC should look over the fact that muslims r forbidded to wear gold rings. I may be wrong but, a gold ring is the only type of jewelry a muslim is allowed to wear.

Defender said that murder is forbidden to islam, even in war. Then i wanna ask how come muslims commit suicide by blowing themselves up and killing innocents. it counts as war cuz they're fighting for land. many muslims do this cuz if they die in war, they believe u go to heaven.

you might want to reevaluate what you've been told.... but is every one sure that rings are forbidden by muslims? Cuz, a lot of arab customs are a cultural not religious thing (i.e. it's part of their Persian or Aryan heritage or something)

Nevertheless, that's not such a big case against the video anyway, since one of them were wearing AIR JORDANS

I made 2 sentences.

I will make it more clear.

1. Islam forbids murder.

2. Even if you say...ok they are at war...well Berg was a civilian and even in times of war you are not allowed to murder innocent civilians.

Yeah. Lets see. Raul Castro is Fidel's brother and Che Guevara, an Argentinian doctor, was also a member of Fidel's 26th of July Movement that seized power in Cuba in 1959. Maybe somebody could really have this name, but in the context where it appears I would say this Mexican doctor is a fabrication.
 
i know a lot of muslims (i deliver newspapers to stores and a lot of the stores are muslim owned)

they are very open and talkative and proud about their religion and i for one can say that ive noticed most of 'em wearing gold chains, bracelets, watches, rings, etc

the only thing i havent seen 'em wear are earrings

so you can toss that out of the window

ive seen a lot of muslims disobeying their religion in certain aspects (just as every other religion), so that part of the "scandal" is dead to me

the only thing i see wrong with the killers wearing the rings, is they are apparently EXTREME beleivers...i mean, if your gonna do a sacrafice for allah, you wouldnt want him bitching at you for wearing a ring, now would ya?
