Sucked it up and bought it, works exactly like it is supposed to. Only thing is the damn saves that can't be transferred to the memory card on the xbox, stuck starting those over

Pretty good list this time around! About time they got Buffy on that list! :) SC:DA is probably the only recent title on the list that I'll actually pick up soon. Been wanting to give it a try since the one for the 360 was a "lacking". Scarface has recieved some good reviews overall, but will probably be around $20 after Christmas. Besides, none can compete with the recent 360 releases!

God bless you, Microsoft. Indigo is one of the best games I've ever played.

Now fix my fucking 360.

And for those that don't know, SC: DA on XBox is COMPLETELY different from the one on 360. As in almost a completely new game.

Now this gives me a reason to finally pick up Ultimate Spider-Man. DAMN this is a fantastic update!!

Good list, But good lord it took forever to come out.

And man I wish there was an easier way to get your xbox saves on your 360.
 
Like everyone else, Shenmue 2 is a nice one for me. The only other game I have on there is Ultimate Spider-Man, but it'll be cool to run through that again if I want to.
 
Very nice. Now I can pick up Buffy again. I had it with my original xbox.. loved it..but got rid of it with my xbox :(

If I was playing Buffy for my 360, does the 360 recognize each game..? So if I'm on your friends list, you would see me as "Playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer" ?
Also, would that show up in your gamertag?

Pointless questions.. But I don't know. I don't have any original Xbox games :p

[/quote] When you're playing Buffy and your friends look at your profile on Live they will see that you're playing Buffy, but it wont show up in your 5 Gamertag games, since only 360 and XBLA games show up in that.

I know I'm going to hear it about "Well, they shouldn't have fuckin' started runnin' their shit about backwards compatibility if it was gonna be like this!" and whatnot, but it seems like for so many, it's all about the game or two that aren't on the list. Everytime.

Yeah, that's the game I want to be BC more than anything else at this point. In my opinion it's about as perfect of a baseball game you'll find. Great gameplay and tons of mini-games and features.

If this game goes BC I'll likely never buy another baseball game again.

huh, re-read the list and noticed that SC:DA's on it. Seeing how everyone and their mama sayd that's the superior version, guess I got one more Xb title to hunt down :)

Here's hoping they continue this trend and release a new update every three months.

EDIT oh shat, just re-re-read the list and noticed Shemue 2~! Gotta pick that up for less than $5 at Eb/GS today.

All I need and I'll never need M$ to update every again:

1) Silent Hill 2 - simply because the PS2 version costs too much

2) Panzer Dragoon Orta - The game that MADE me buy an Xbox. I so miss this one :(

3) ESPN NFL 2k5 - fuck madden, this is still the best football game ever made. I could care less that the roster is more than 2 years old. Plus, it's like $3 now :lol:

4) Mortal Kombat Shoalin Monks - The lame version included with MK:A just makes me want to play through this again even more. Get to work on a sequal for 360 that has online co-op Midway!

Sure, you could argue that I can just pick up three out of the two for PS2, but I play PS2 on my PS3, which leads to two major problems: a) the game has a 25% of not being BC (yes, PS3 is going through BC problems too). b) games look worse on PS3 than they originally looked on PS2, plus I can run them in 720p on my 360 :D
 
Shenmue II FTW!!!!

Now I can finally get rid of my Xbox. Other games that I'm glad are now BC are Buffy, Indigo Prophecy, MK Armageddon, Psychonauts, Scarface.

All that's left for me is NFL2K5 and MVP 05.

I agree. Tons of people are complaining about a game or two they don't have BC, when they have around 300 BC. I still think the 360 easily has the best backwards compatibility due to actually upgrading the games.

The people at MVPMods.com have made the game timeless, what with new rosters, complete minor league rosters (complete with pictures), and stadium mods that feature realistic advertisment placement!

Same here. I guess it's a good update if you actually own those games, but other than Indigo and Buffy, I don't. And don't plan to.

No Panzer Dragoon Orta means this list fails.
 
I'm still waiting for Morrowind, Silent Hill 2, Deus Ex: Invisible War, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, Enclave, Otogi, and Beyond Good and Evil. :(

Wrestlemania 21...uh, I bet all you want to do is play Goldberg, HUH?! He's in your avatar. Well, I would recommend just dusting off the N64 and playing Wrestlemania 2000 or NWO vs WCW Revenge. Revenge was the best in the series, IMO. It made stellar leaps when compared to the first. Wrestlemania 2k's create-a-wrestler was the only thing that shined. But then again, everyone created overly powerful 5'3" 140lbs wrestlers so it ruined the game quick.

People have got to give up on old (non-extreme) sports games, particularly ones like NFL 2K5 and MVP Baseball 2005, as that would create a conflict of interest with the current franchises and--I'm guessing just this is once, most people will agree with me--in turn cost said franchises sales.
