Cool that it's official, but sucks that it's occuring before several big new releases, such as Spider-Man 2, Harry Potter 3, and LOTR:ROTK EE. Oh, well, BB and other local stores will likely have deals for such popular titles anyway.
 
I tried to enter NYTIMES, but it said it was invalid. Has anyone gotten it to work?

Well, started loading up my cart...the ole credit card's gonna take a beating this weekend. I want to take full advantage of this sale, but am kinda drawing a blank so far... any suggestions for some good flicks? I like just about anything.....
 
I know y'all aren't watching this sale for cheapo DVDs, but you can tack Mars Attacks on to your big orders for an extra $5.99 before discount. I love this movie, and that's a good price for it.

Yep, sale is definately on now. Just ordered Super Troopers, Matrix Revelations, and the complete Here and there, now and then box for only $53 shipped. Not too shabby.

What are the OOS rates for these sales? I don't want to wait 2 days and then ahve everythign gone. Of course...what I'm going to buy doesn't come out till the 16th, so I might be ok.

Hmm, I am considering Iron Giant, and Galaxy Rangers. My fear is that Rangers may not have aged well (I haven't seen it in forever). I am holding off on Zim, because I think they announced a box set early next year, am I wrong?

I am definitely getting Magnum P.I. v1, and 21 Jump Street v1.

Edit: Another question... If one were to get only one Ranma box set, does anyone have an opinion as to which one to get?

Just ordered CSI season 1 and Invader Zim Vol 1+2 for $76.75 shipped! CSI alone would have cost me that after taxes here in N.Y. in a store.Thanks alot for the heads up!
 
Sweet. Just picked up volumes 1 & 2 of Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum. It works out that the sale ends on Saturday, since volume 3 is being released midweek and I get payed on Friday. :D
 
Is the movie 'The Iron Giant' really that good? It seems a lot of people like it. Obviously I haven't seen it, but from the previews it seems merely decent to me, but of course I could be wrong.

If I may make an anime suggestion. Get the Silent Mobius Collection. I have the first two disks and needed the third. All three sets will only cost you $23 bucks but you get 600 minutes of quality classic anime. These originally retailed for $50 bucks but they're clearance now so are $9 each before coupon.
 
is Kaena the Prophecy any good? im not big on anime (if thats what this is), but its one of the only movies that ive seen advertised in video game magazines that ive drawn interest to
