DEFCON (boxed) for $19.99 @ Amazon.com

My 2 cents: the game is about $10 too expensive. While DEFCON is fun and unique, it has limited replay value. Much like The Ship (another innovative indie title), it gets old fast.

It'd have more players if it was a $9.99 budget game from the beginning.

DEFCON is really fun to play against your friends though. Like a more manly version of Battleship :)
 
I think I paid $10 for Defcon back in the day. They played a nasty gambit. You could preorder for $10, but once the game and demo were released, the price would jump to $15.

I like Defcon, but for $20, no CAG worth his salt should buy it. The MP is nearly dead. And while I usually deride MP, this is a game where you have your finger on the trigger and sweat it out about whether your allies are trustworthy, where the enemy subs are coming from, why yours are disappearing, and how can you maneuver your foes into attacking someone who isn't you so their defenses will be down.

Or, you could be Europe and just get raped over and over.
