Well, these weren't supposed to be released yet. Someone messed up at that site. But, the beta was actually working for a short time until Trion saw it and shut it off. The beta doesn't start until March 25 at 8am pst. So if you got one, download and avoid the wait. I guess they aren't allowed to turn on the servers until later.

As for it being called a beta, it's strange. They are using terms in a different way. Their alpha is very limited but it's more like a closed beta. Their beta is more like a demo or final stress test.

You need a Prime membership to get the code, am I wrong?

There's a long way to go with this beta to a playable game... Aliens:Colonial Marines is about as good.

it worked fine on the ps3 but I can't play it at all on pc or xbox
