I gotta be honest man, you're laying it on pretty thick there. "The main reason for my purchase", "restoring my faith in EA/Origin", demanding "a considerable discount..." it's a friggin' shotgun.
I never even asked about the shotgun DLC but I ended up receiving an email on Mar. 29th saying that they are unable to provide the shotgun and offering a "collector rifle pack" as a consolation. From the email, my assumption was that they had no plans to release the shotgun, so it kind of runs against what the rep told you.
