"Delivered" (but not actually stolen) USPS packages...

Go Jack Bauer on their ass.

Guy stealing box: Ah....I wasn't stealing anything!
You: OF course not, how can a dead man steal anything?
How is going to the post office and having to wait on the long ass line with a bunch of assholes convenient?
A shit load more convient then getting your stuff stolen

Getting a PO Box is a great idea but it's not foolproof though.

Once a while I have some mail 're-delivered' to my box, because the PO people had sorted it to the wrong box but its honest owner mailed it back to me (sometimes at their cost because they had opened it by mistake thinking it's their own mail). Who knows if there was any mail sorted to the wrong box but later discarded as junk?!

Don't let this stop you though. Get a Box. It's much better than leaving your mails on your porch.

I think the taping idea is a great one, and additionally you should get stuff delivered to a box or held at the post office in the future. I wouldn't order shit online until both of those were done.

To those who say it's a waste of gas and time, gas maybe, but whenever I'm at the post office, people just there to pick up items usually get immediate service by someone not working the front desk, no wait whatsoever, and this is a somewhat large city. (Milwaukee)

Where did you buy the Samurai Champloo set? I remember when I ordered a set from... I think it was DeepDiscount, I informed them that I still haven't received the dvds, but they marked it as delivered. They paid for another set to be sent out, and took it up with them.

It was later discovered that the UPS guy threw my package in what he thought was my backyard... genius!
