Dell 5 Days of Deals: Gamer's Edition

Just read on the Dell.ca website that they're having the '5 Days of Deals: Gamer's Edition' starting next Monday. (Nov. 19-23)

I'm not sure what this will mean in terms of games or console prices. But I just wanted to contribute to the community here.

Unfortunately for me, I have work and school during the week. By the time I get to a computer, I have a feeling any good deal will be out of stock.

I did nothing magic.

I simply said that my preorder was at 59.99$, the price is 49.99$.

The person understood quickly and gave me 10$.

YMMV though.

It's not really a "deal of the day" if the sale ends before noon. People on the west coast might have missed it altogether.

All my Trade3 preorders are for $69.99 but I'm afraid they'll say I don't deserve the $10 difference because I got it off the promo. The guy at my EB was a bit of a jerk when I was trading the games in.

Oh right when I pre-ordered Smash it was $59.99 as well, if I get $10 back the game would have been a grand total of $10 off =P Well, I wouldn't do it with Dell anyway. Don't trust them enough, especially considering the game comes out on Sunday so there's no way you'll have it on Sunday if you order online.

I need Smash day 1. No later. Hopefully earlier.
 
Yea I don't think I like the idea of getting a game for cheap a few months before it is out. Bigger and better things could come along.

So far these are great deals though. I have only purchased SMG though.
 
Man the struggle I had last night when it was first posted was unbearable. I was at the checkout screen for maybe 30 minutes where I would talk myself in and back out of it. Sadly in the end my inner Cheap Ass won and I didn't buy it. Was a very sad day indeed.

Can anyone give me the exact time that they switch the deal of the day? Whenever I check it it hasn't switched, then when I check it again it already switched and sold out >_

Kind of a relief, really. Today's shitty game selection is like Preparation H to my bank account's itching and burning.
