You should call customer service and see and they can't fix the problem :1-800-847-4096.

Thanks for the number. Their business hours are only from Mon to Fri, so I will have to call during the week.
 
Called Dell, they wouldn't offer price protection for their own deal of the day, so I cancelled it. :dunce:

We were in the market for a laptop recently, but went for a cheaper and better equipped HP instead, partially because Dell had given me grief over something else recently. After this, they're definitely off my shopping radar.
