Oops. Sorry, I honestly hadn't checked at or around release. The only reason I saw it was because I was checking for the regular edition's DPCI number since someone posted in the clearance thread that it went on clearance.

I sent an order in too, just in case. If Target actually will get them in stock in 2-4 weeks, I don't mind waiting, it's cheaper than anywhere else in the world, that's for sure.
 
This is a great game. The challenge is definitely there and as for the guide that comes in the LE, I actually do find myself using it. If I didn't already have it, I would pay MSRP for this game in a heartbeat. I've already clocked in 100+ hours.

Though if you're looking for the best online multiplayer experience, this is not it.

GH version of the limited edition Demon's Souls? Because this post is about the limited edition with the box and guide.
 
Guys, this isn't happening. Several previous posts have been made for the same "Deal" and each time the orders have been cancelled or in limbo forever. There is no reprint of the Limited Edition and certainly Target would not be the retailer to get it if there was.
 
For anyone just looking for the regular edition, there has been sightings of the game on clearance at Target for $41.98. Check the Target Clearance thread for more details....

Do you have a source for this? To the best of my knowledge, they're simply offering replacements for the guides that have showed sudden signs of wear, not reprinting the whole set.

I'm sure you're right, but you never know... They might have found a box or two in a warehouse somewhere, but it's probably just an error.
 
Yep, this will never ship--I've placed two orders for this over the past three months from them and both have eventually been canceled. Better to lock this now than get peoples' hopes up over nothing. For whatever reason, Target just won't take down this listing.
 
It was worth a shot but you're all probably right sadly. I got the same vibe from this as i did when walmart had mario galaxy on preorder for $19.82. But i just had to try. ;)
