Demon's Souls c'mon...

Been looking for the last couple weeks and most stores seem to not even have the game... let alone even heard of it. If anyone can recommend a deal much appreciated.
 
just looked it up on hastings, especially when i saw in another thread stating that they are doing a 30% off used games deal at the moment... making the game 34 yet sadly they are in fact out of stock.
 
You're about 3 weeks or so too late. I had an import copy that I just got rid of for 2 PS3 games not too long ago.

I liked the game, but it frustrated the hell out of me with all of the deaths I endured in the months I had it(since June).

You will die in Demon's Souls.....ALOT.
 
the only bad thing about atlas is that their games are never vast in amount... i guess my best bet would to snag up a copy early next year or perhaps find a promotion such as Tru's B1G1 50% yet i cant find a game that i want at the 60 dollar price, already have uncharted 2 which was my holiday game.
 
BTW i know i will die a lot yet the atmosphere seems spot on, especially the dark eastern European medieval theme really hits the spot with me. I do find it odd that people are willing to spend over 100 dollars on the deluxe edition on ebay just for a slip cover and strategy guide... that's insane.

Considering that the guide by itself was going for $40+ itself at one point(haven't checked recently), I can see WHY they decided to buy those deluxe editions. Unfortunately, due to a manufacturing error many of those guides were losing parts of their cover due to normal wear and tear, as in the printing was just coming right off of them.:roll:

Atlus has since put out a guide replacement program for those people with the DE.

If Ebay is an option for you, you might want to look into a copy from there, since I'm sure many are still selling off the game due to being aggravated by it.

Or just check on the CAG trading forum, since someone may be selling a copy that they're done with, if you can't find a deal to your liking elsewhere.
 
I'd get it from Amazon. The game is probably my GOTY. It's not that it doesn't have some issues or frustrations, but just about every other game I've played since then has made me think "Man, why isn't this more like Demon's Souls." Worth the price of admission.

Totally, I completely agree--just buy it, it's worth every full price penny. I'm on my second playthrough now, my first was well over 80 hours. it's my favorite game this gen. Just buy it!

Donno. All the B&M's 'round here (Beantown) seem to have stacks of it. I'm sure it will drop like a rock after Christmas. The hoarders need the DE to make any cash off it.

I'm guessing regular editions will hold some value but that is years down the line.

I ended up getting Mirror's Edge and Bionic Commando, which are both still around $30-35 each used quite a few places. And yes, I realize that BC wasn't exactly the best game I could've traded for, but it looked interesting in some demo gameplay videos.:D
 
I got my new copy at GameStop (only copy they had) though I haven't seen them in stock at all at too many GS locations. A month or two after the original release they started stocking them at Best Buy, too (still $59.99). No luck at Target or Toys 'R Us, though.

Yeah, I bought a copy from my GS yesterday. When the guy opened the drawer with all the new games, it looked like they only had maybe two or three copies, if that. I've not seen it in any other stores either. Definitely a hard game to come by.
