Details regarding the dashboard update for the 360
No offense, but i don't get why people are "craving" that much over a BC update.
I want to play next-gen games not last year hits for the original xbox. My prediction is that we will get one LAST BC update and then thats it. Xbox1 is dying anyways...

If i ever want to play a game that is not supported by the xbox 360 BC list, i can always use my original xbox. All that without swearing ;)
I can't do the dishes without swearing, so don't worry so much about that. ;)

I just want what was promised: full backwards compatibility and regularly featured updates to the BC list. When was the last update? December?

I'm also looking to shrink the sheer amount of shit I have connected to my TV. One of the aspects of purchasing a 360 was due to their promise of full backwards compatibility (eventually); I felt that I could have one system do the things two could do, instead of having another fucking buick-sized console plugged into my TV. (not to mention I have RCA cables for the Xbox, but use component cables for the 360).

Consider the frothing at the mouth people have over Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting for XBLA. What's the bloomin' difference between me wanting BC games and people wanting to pay for a 15 year old title to play over live?

Lack of HD inputs on sets and hi-fi inputs on receivers is another issue. Receivers especially, get hella expensive for just a few more inputs.

MS never stated the 360 would be fully backwards compatible with the xbox games. Only the more known better selling games.

And the reason people are getting so pissy over SF2 HF not getting released and delayed over and over again is because its one of the best selling games of all time and to be able to play it over a network kinda like how the old Xband was gives it that much more of a hype. Something I'd rather want over a couple games not being backwards compatible on my 360. You can always buy a System Selector to hook it up to that way you don't have so many things connected to your tv. http://www.shop4tech.com/?go=view_item&id=4490&r=183 $85 including shipped. Not bad if you ask me and damn good reviews from reading sites elsewhere. :)
Completely different video than the one I linked to.. so not old! :)
Not to sound like an ass, but why couldnt you just update the thread?
this is old. gamespot already had a video last week with the exact same info as this one.
As stated already.. different video. Mods have already seen the thread.. it wasn't deleted.. so stop with the OLD thread crap. Try reading other posts inside of a thread.

And to the other poster:

As far as me not updating the other thread with the above video link... just to annoy you.

You're wrong no matter how you look at it because I say so. That's all that matters.

This should have been amended to one of the two previous threads.

I've heard Monday is the tentative release date... but some are saying this week. I wonder if they will push it to everyone at once??
:applause: Great news! I'm more and more happy every day with my decision to go with a 360 as of last Thursday. If only I could afford a second game :D .

RC
I feel ya on that son. I just got my free 360 in the mail on friday. The only 360 game I got is Ghost Recon. I play Forza and Halo thanks to the patch I downloaded, but my other Xbox games still don't work. I'm too broke right now to get Live. Hell, I don't even have broadband internet right now (using satelite internet right now). I plan on getting it soon though. I miss the college campus already, just cause of the T1 line.

Damn I need to get a job.
