Well, Tales of Symphonia is dropping to $19.99 at TRU tomorrow and I knew if I wanted to get some decent credit I had to trade my copy in today. I went to a independent game store to trade them in since they've been cool when I was in elementary school or something.

I traded in:

Tales of Symphonia $16
Karaaj (GBA, looks like one of those clearence bin games) $7!!!!

I was surprised on the GBA game, really. Anyway, they didn't have the games I wanted so I just got a brand new, Vampire Night (w/ guncon) for $39.99 before credit. Is that the new price for Vampire Night or something?

Also, I saw one of those Millenium published, Metal Gear Solid (PS1) guides and FF8 guide for 9.99 each, is that a good deal? I didn't get it.
 
You got ripped off on trading in Tales of Symphonia you dumb bass, you could have probably sold it on ebay for $35-40 new
 
I don't think it was such a rip off to trade tales of symphonia. Since he's had the game and only used the TRU price to compare, I'm assuming it's used. Used copies sell for around $20-30 on eBay right now. So it's not that much different. Plus you have to figure in all the ebay and paypal fees. Now if it was new, you might have been better off selling on ebay.

No you're the "dumb bass", because mine's used since it came out. Yes, it's true that I could get more off ebay but I just didn't want to go through all that hassle and risk the possibility of selling it for a low price because of tomorrow's price drop at TRU. Did you mean used? Cause those are only going in the 20's if I remember right. They'll drop maybe b/c of TRU. That's what I'm worried about.

Edit: Okay, I now see why you might think I traded it in new. Will edit that post.

I got a used one for $2.50 shipped on ebay a few weeks ago.
 
I had been debating about selling/trading my copy of ToS and when I saw the price drop at gamecrazy I immediatly dumped it on ebay. Managed to pull 40 shipped out of it :D I enjoyed it, but couldn't get into it cause I suck at blocking so I would have extreme issues getting by some parts.
