Did You Get Your Wii Pre-Order?

I am aware of the 360 fiasco that is why my GS handed out, prior to opening, a Pre-order list with a Disclaimer stapled to it. This disclaimer is stated what we all knew that GS is going to avoid the problem that happened last year. As for what you're talking about how they will call the first 20 IMHO is BS. I'm not trusting GS at all and as I've read on many threads here some people weren't even called about the initial pre-order. If you want the system on launch your ass better be at the store at 12:01 or the next morning at opening.
 
Couldn't wake up until around 10am, way too late. I call GS just for shits & giggles and sure enough, they sold out in record time. Now that would be the end of the story if it wasn't for my dad of all people.

He knew I was pretty bummed out about not getting one, so while in a HV looking for something to rent on his work break he decides to head into Gamecrazy. Miracously, not only had they started to take preorders, but they only had 8 people on the list! Sure enough my dad gives me the call & give him the go-ahead to preorder.

Here's hoping that GC gets at least 9 Wii's ;)
 
Went to GS to see about trading in my GC for that extra 20$. Turns out you can only get that if you trading it toward a Wii preorder, which was ok for me so I said cool sign me up I want one anyway. Turns out you cant preorder them there making that extra 20$ deal useless. Woohoo

There's no preorder requirement, that's only for the xbox-xbox360 deal.

You could probably make $50 on ebay though, more if you bundle some games in and what-not.
 
Alright so get this one :) I just went and sold my gamecube to the local EB for the 45 dollar deal. I figure its 45 bucks for a wii game. Anyway... So I was asking the guy at the counter if he knew when the second shippment of wii's will be in, hs seriously told me March, and added, didnt you see the prices they are going for on ebay? I told him that the ebay people were stupid and that there is going to be 4-6 million wii's available by the end of the year. That was pretty much the end of the conversation.

I guess that store must suck or something if they arent getting any new stock till march :)
