I will venture a guess that once Mario Kart DS is released, it will have more people playing online than all of the PSP online games combined.
This is true. Actually, I should have also stated my real reason for the PSP...the homebrew scene. You can do pretty much anything with a large enough memory stick. The DS will definitely have grade A games running on infrastructure such as Mario Kart and Metroid, but again...I waited close to a year for this. I mean I understand it's a smart marketing move, but at the same time...the DS has the possibility for so much more. For example, the DS would be able to browse the net 20 times better than the PSP because you can use the bottom screen as a makeshift keyboard / mouse. Has Nintendo capitalized on this? No. The DS would be one hell of an AIM / Messenger type client as well...there was a rumor that meetros was going to be released, but I dont know if this anything more than a rumor. Sad fact is, Nintendo HAD me when I bought the system. However, right now the PSP has my loyalty for all the things I can do with it. If you have a 2.0+ PSP then hands down I'd be playing my DS. I'm not wanting to start a flame war and I hate when people talk trash about certain systems (including the DS)...however, I just wanted people to understand what I meant by too little too late. If and When Nintendo releases infrastructure for the DS, chances are I'm going to love my DS a whole lot more than the PSP for a while. Until then...I'll keep messing with the PSP.
