I'm trying to login to nisamerica's store but it is dead.
Guess too many people were trying to preorder disgaea there.
If I can't buy it with the preorder goodies, guess I'll get it from outpost later tonight.

Might not be a bad idea to grab it now, as Outpost tends to take forever with most orders unless you're among the first to pre-order with them...

Hope you're able to get whatever you want ;)
 
Nice find. Unfortunately, no free shipping to Alaska (7.21 for 2nd day air), so I'll have to pick it up locally. Hopefully BB will have it at/near launch, and I can use one of my GGCs.

Uh, no it doesn't. Outpost regularly sells games below regular retail price for preorders.

So does Fry's and even most of the time. Tekken PSP was $35 on Outpost & Fry's. Fry's was selling NCAA 07 PS2 & Xbox was 10 cheaper than Outpost. Fry's Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth was $5 Cheaper than Outpost. Fry's will have have the same price(or Cheaper) as Outpost on the day of the game release.
 
The thing is, Disgaea 1 can take a hundred hours or more for completists; it's hard to imagine when I'd ever get the time to play the sequel.
 
Thanks OP I went with this instead, between tax, shipping, and 10 more bucks for the NIS copy wasn't worth it.
 
I preordered on the 1st and I got an email saying it's backordered. This is the first time ordering from Outpost. Is this normal?

Yes. They generally don't ship it as soon as the game is released. Every game I've pre-ordered from Outpost ships a few days after the official release date, and in the meantime the order status says "Backordered".

I think this is my most anticipated release in a while and I really don't have the funds at this time. I hope it doesn't get rare
 
NIS games don't get too rare.. but their price stays pretty high for the life of the game. Phantom Brave dropped pretty quick though which suprised me since it wasn't a bad game as the series goes.
