Art book is exactly the one I posted on in scans and is untranslated :(...

Strat guide will prolly be shelfed...I don't wanna power level or mass item world for the first play through....more entertaining for me....Ive already read manga from scans online so pass on that for now and as for music...im playing disgaea 2 no time for that
 
Well i ordered the collectors set got it shipped and it came with no artbook. And when i ordered it they said it would come with it. NIS:A doesnt have anymore and it seems 100 or so people got scrouged out of the limited artbook.

If anyone has the set with artbook and is willing to sell let me know.

I'm gonna go be a sad panda now.

I would call and complain and see if you can't get SOMETHING for them screwing you like that.
 
I'd definatly complain, maybe you can get hooked up with some replacement swag later. Or threaten to return it demanding your money back if they don't offer up a replacement.

if anyone wants to make an offer on the

soundtrack, manga book and guide pm me. i have no use for them (i just wanted the artbook and i had to buy all this stuff to get the book)

on the packing slip it does not say it comes with Artbook, but on my original email invoice from time of order it says with Artbook. So i got screwed and i already contacted them and they have no more available. What they got is what they got they didnt even say sorry.

Never get your girls hopes up and then have them crushed cause of a artbook. I'm learning what hell i'm to pay for it not coming.

Best Buy had about 10 copies of this in... that was kind of surprising. I wonder if CC also got in copies?

It's definitely making me rethink keeping the game when my Doublejump package comes in, now that I started the Xenosaga trilogy instead because DJ is shipping the games slow as fuck.

I'll probably just sell Disgaea 2 for $43 - $45 on Ebay and pick it up when someone drops it down to $30. I only really wanted the goodies.

remember though , they got the first part of the game in as well. Many people picked up the first game at the CC 5 buck sale back in 2004? I dont think the game ever fell cheaper then 50.

I will pick up xenosaga 3 when it falls to 20 or under (probally rent it first to see if my PS2 will play it) Some reason my ps2 (slim model) Refused to play part 2 (kept freezing)

Yea but every other NIS game dropped in price... La Pucelle, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom, Atelier Iris 1, Disgaea was just the rare game out of the bunch that went rare.

These days it seems NIS actually overproduces games... I really wouldn't be surprised to see this drop to $29.99 in 6 months. I'll get it then again, because honestly now that I've started something new the game will just collect dust on my shelf for awhile.

It kinda sucks, was really pumped for the game, I just hope I get that artbook.

i know what you mean. I picked up that Tales of ?? for the ps2 off ebay around 2 months ago for what i thought was a great price 25 shipped. Never played it yet. By the time i get to play it the game will probally fall to 20 new (once the new tales game comes out in Oct i expect it to fall)

Hopefully i be tired of this game by oct 12 when the new tales comes out.. Was just offered 200 bucks for my sealed Disgaea 1 (with sticker) in class today . Tempted to take it but i doubt i will ever be able to find another first print cheap

I don't think the game was really a hot commodity back then, plus it got reprinted after that.

We are as unhappy and disappointed as you that they were not all shipped by the 29th as promised, but it was out of our control.

Well, apparently NIS did a great job shipping, and you even get tracking information... apparently with DoubleJump you have to make a special request to get yours.

I'm tempted to just hit them with a chargeback from my credit card, because yea, this is fucking ridiculous, I don't like going through all this shit just to find out where my damn package is.

I mean, they won't even say what order # hasn't shipped? What cocksuckers.

Just ordered my Game on the 31st from NIS (Already have guide, I just ordered the game and hopefully the soundtrack.) and, according to
UPS tracking, won't be here until the 11th.
But I still have Disgaea 1 to finish, so that'll keep me busy for a few years.:D

Now what I can't confirm is if the box itself has the artbook in it.

Anyone wants to chip in?
 
This is fucking crazy. My set has yet to arrive so I'm sending DJ an e-mail. It better be here Tuesday with my damn artbook. I'm a little worried that it may have arrive and some little punk in the neighborhood took the package since my girlfriend and I had to work a large amount last week.

I don't blame you; we're very upset and disappointed also because they promised US they would all be shipped by the 29th and it's our reputation that's being ruined. And there's nothing we can do about the late shipping or who got their orders first. The people who ordered single copies from us (the ones shipped by us) all got them on time; we started shipping the 17th.

If I were you I'd write to NIS to complain also.

I ordered through DJ Books but my set was shipped by Onfulfillment which handles the NIS America orders. I got my order two days after getting the email from DJBooks that sets were shipping. Sounds like I got lucky.
 
i read from the djbooks forum that some guy said his invoice indicate with artbook. he received the package and opened it and it doesnt include the artbook.
 
did anyone who ordered at DJBooks got their games yet?

It says shipped on my account but they didn't provide any tracking numbers.

The NIS store provided one and it should be here on the 6th~
 
Mine also arrived on Friday, via UPS. There's a big thread at the DJ forums, where you canpost your order number and get all your tracking info.
 
I'm still waiting for mine from DJ. UPS says it should be delivered today but I have the feeling it won't be arriving today as the tracking info still says its at the Atlanta facility and not "Out for delivery."

It ties into the first one in terms of cahracters and world, but you it's not a requirement to have played it.
 
How do I get my tracking info from Doublejump? I still haven't received my package yet, and I don't want to register onto their forums just to get a # that should have been given to me.

Does anyone have an email addy?
