Thanks to some good tradeage, I managed to pay off a pre-order of Catherine for ~$30 cash outlay. I am pleased! If you can find some good qualifiers, it's on the T3 list at EB and some stores will also let you do a T2 + $10, depending.

I thought about doing something like that.. but Gamestop generally has the game for 5-10 dollar more expensive then amazon and there's also the fact that there are so many editions of Catherine (PS3: 1 normal edition, 1 alternative cover, and 1 deluxe edition, same for xbox 360)...

and I don't want to miss out on preorder goodies (Gamestop seem to have gotten better, but their old track record don't really help my confidence in them)

Well I did a trade 3 for Catherine and I usually pick up my game on they day of the release and I have always gotten my pre-order goodies.

My trade 3 cost me about $25 thanks to craigslist (for used games.)
 
i wonder if Catherine is actually going to be any good. I watched Giant Bomb's quick look on it and it looks sorta crappy...

maybe it was just that section they showed but it really doesnt look too promising to me compared to all of Atlus' other titles

and thanks OP for the Disgaea 4 info...definitely a pre-order for me!

edit: also any idea as to what is contained in the Dis 4 Premium? Looks like artbook/figure from the picture. Any DLC bonuses?
 
figure looks dreadful :? why not just get the normal game? 8 bux less?

ya you're right...that figure is pretty horrid

I changed my order to the regular...hopefully Best Buy has it up for pre-order with some RZ points as bonus to go along with it (though I doubt it for this niche game)

Yeah, that's why I passed on the Super Premium set, figures are kinda pointless IMO. But the Premium set comes with a artbook (softbound, unlike some of the preview pics going around) and a soundtrack, both of which I always want with limited editions.
 
Ill do a T2 for Otomedius Excellent today, making it cheaper than Amazon.ca

Edit: And a second one for Agarest War Zero Limited Edition. I was gonna skip but for 40$ Ill bite. Too bad I really dont like the Disgaea Premium Edition.
 
The music repeats so much in disgaea games that I don't think I would even want to listen to the soundtrack after I'm done with the game. Heck 1/2 the time I just mute these games and put on the radio while doing item dives.
