disposing of a Sega Saturn

I found a round button model 2 Saturn which Imodchipped and beefed up with a larger battery box, which has left my model 1 oval button to sit in a box, unused and unneeded.

I put it on craigslist with a controller, power cord, 2 fighting game controllers and 3 games. As I have 1 TV cable betwene both consoles, I listed it without TV cord at a discount. The one guy who inquired, who has bought from me before, has become flaky about this, suddenly no longer responding to emails and coming up with excuses. Hey, if $25 for the lot is too much for him, fine, but he doesn't need to jerk me around with excuses. I have to leave the house in 20 minutes to meet with another CL buyer today, and I'm not going to show up to meet him too if he's not responding to messages. To top it off, his cell phone # has gone inactive.

I called the ONE store in this area that still deals in retro and they only give $5 for a Saturn. Cheapskate used store ripoff value, for a store that price tags the thing at $60. It'd cost $8 gas to take it to them. I would lose $3 selling it to them.

I'd post it on here but I've given up a single hope of you people actually showing interest in the things I try to sell.

So... I'll junk it instead. Question is, how? Sledge hammer? Drill? Fire? Whatever I decide, I'll be sure to take some pictures of the wreckage.
 
Don't break it if it still works- I'm sure someone here will buy it (especially with this thread up now.) Hell, I'd offer to buy it right now if I hadn't blown most of this paycheck yesterday on Christmas presents.

Now I wonder how much a copy of NiGHTS costs...

If you're gonna throw away money by breaking it, then just give it away to either someone who wants it or donate it instead.
 
I've been trying to sell my dual-boot (switch installed) US/JPN Saturn and games in my tradelist for a while...Never got an offer worth anything. I'm not saying I haven't gotten offers, but I'm not selling it for $25 shipped. I never even got a worthy trade offer...but I haven't exactly been tryin to actively pushl it, either.

Seconded. First rule is to treat the buyer like shit, it works, trust me. The more I don't give a shit about my tradelist, the faster shit starts to sell. The more I belittle people in the thread, the more shit sells.
